It’s funny Tbone I’ve been watching your videos for a while and didn’t know you were in SC. I was born in Florence and grew up in Timmonsville.

I got one identical, I clean both of the jets change the plug and still not wanting to run. It’ll start once when you’ve got it on choke then it’ll shut off.

What’s a sling blade???
@RLoose9494Ай бұрын
That’s what I have. It surges constantly unless I engage choke a little then it runs fine? Mine is a dual fuel 10K

Awesome, too Easy!. Just a clogged jet, port or emulsion tube in carburetor. You can do it!!
@RLoose9494Ай бұрын
@@RaleysSmallEngines thanks I need to keep like zero fuel in it afterwards. I run non ethanol premium fuel still goes bad
@RaleysSmallEnginesАй бұрын
@RLoose9494 generators are notorious for bad fuel because they sit a lot. After using completely drain fuel tank and carburetor completely dry. Leaving open for a day or so. Then store it. That's what I do with ours and when I'm ready for them they always start.

My friend just acquired one of these Champion 46596 generators from someone he knows for free. It's in bad shape, no fuel lines, oil sensor wire is gone, pull start assembly is gone, valves are rusted open, no compression. I think I'll need to rebuild it to get it working, should i call it a lost cause and just tell him to spend the money on a running unit?

Sounds like too much work. Scrap it for the copper value.
@aj3835 ай бұрын
@@Mrs.T-bone yeah. I already priced out parts and it's unfortunately not worth it... It has joined the pile that will be going to scrap.

Have one like that .ran great for 5 days .getting spark and gas .will not hit now even on starting fluid .any idea?
@RaleysSmallEngines2 жыл бұрын
Be sure it's full of oil. Then disconnect the wires to the low oil shut off. Oh also if it has a Bosch or surefire spark plug throw it away and put in a NGK
@keithjones1972 жыл бұрын
@@RaleysSmallEngines changed the oil ,put new plug in.will disconnect low oil switch. Thanks.
