I taught a young girl in 6th grade. Down Syndrome. She had a photographic memory for dance and was the best student in her class, really in all the 6 and 7th grade classes. The school tried to give me the credit for her amazing accomplishment. I told them it was not me, but she was simply gifted to dance. I am so glad to see Chelsea Werner. Wish I had connected my student to a studio or to the Special Olympics in NC. She would have done a fantastic job and maybe helped break through for a lot of students with disabilities. I love it. Congratulations to mom and Chelsea.

In Australia, some of the department stores regularly use downs kids in photo shoots, for clothing, toys, Xmas gifts. Only Covid has stopped the use of child models.
