The "Why God phone die every time that I call on him? If is son had a Twitter wonder if I would follow him." bar is so crazy to listen to because it just shows how drastically he changed his attitude toward so many things. Chance can go from quetioning God to doing an entire gospel inspired album, praising him in many lyrics. Incredible.

His view on 'God' has gotten worse in my opinion. He's gone from implying that god is a careless entity who has no influence on anything despite his omnipotent abilities to believing in the bullshit personal god. Coloring book was shit in my opinion. This is coming from a huge chance fan too. Oh well

Just got done listening to Slum Village. Most rappers that use samples from older songs butcher it and screw it up, Chance kept it clean, smooth, and real. Shout out to Chance for being one of the most literate and real rappers out there. Love and Respect

Brendan Bott Something tells me you're new to rap... There's plenty of great rappers who use great samples but we have people that dick ride bandwagons and just agree that there are few great artists left.

"....What's good Good? and what's good Evil?" Its funny how people where I live out west, people now dont know what you mean when you ask them "whats good?" but this opening line was pure genius. it's like hes ascended into being a higher being and totally objective with not subjective thoughts. Its represented well by his image being projected as an outline with a city-scape of millions of people in the apartments with their lights on in the back drop, as if he is everyman and everywoman. There's a good reason this album is entitled Acid Rap, its definitely "woke" haha. Pure creative genius. I love it.
