I put your videos in background to listen to you talk because you are very eloquent but I was shocked today cause the video started with your long copper hair and when i reopened the tab you had dark brown hair with a new haircut haha thought it was a brand new video for a moment !! like the fresh look :)

I loved this video! I'd love a spin on this video where you start off with one "like your last", then after you read that one choose one of those "like your last" as "like your last train" type of video

I read a bunch of Karla Sorensen a couple of months ago and the plan is the one I'll be reading next. She has a whole 'universe' of interconnected books. For example the first book in the Washington wolves is the story about the parents of the heroine in this one. The Lie is about her sister and the ward sisters series is about the sisters of the hero in one of the other books in the Washington wolves 😅 so you probably met several characters from previous books in The Plan

Thanks for doing this video. I haven't subbed to KU for very long and have been struggling to find the point. I'm going to give these a try 😊

Definitely agree with you with you DNFing a book to protect your reading. Have to enjoy what you’re reading for your own health as well. Learned that the hard way😂

I would LOVE another video like this! I’m always looking for a good KU read (all the ones I loved recently were recommended by you, so no new ones to share here lol) and I feel like these recommendations were really fresh and I hadn’t heard of them before.

I just got KU this summer and binged all your past videos for recs, so I'm almost positive you haven't read any of these yet: -The Devil Wears Tartan by Katia Rose (new adult F/F rivals to lovers) -You & Me by Tal Bauer (single parent M/M that's a slow burn but so rewarding) [also he writes amazing political suspense novels and I never would guessed how much I'd love them!) -Get it Right by Skye Kilaen (novella length, pan nurse and butch lesbian second chance romance with chronic illness rep)

I second the Tal Bauer rec!

I’m always nervous when you read one of my favorites. I’m glad you liked The Plan. You should read the other Karla Sorensen Washington wolves books. The next in the spin-off is Erik’s sister and Lydia’s sister and parents both have books

I haven’t read the plan yet even though i already own it but I’ve heard mixed things anyway… but the ward sisters series by her was amazing. Focused, faked and forbidden were all really good. Forbidden was my favorite. And if you want to try focused - read the marriage effect first cause that was good and the focused story starts there first

“I finished Drowning Erin a while ago” says new haircut Chandler 😂 also loved The Secret from Max Monroe but idk if I’ll read the rest in the “series”

I've been reading quite a few Karla Sorensen books lately including this one. While I enjoyed this one, its my least favourite. So I'm thinking chances are you might enjoy the others more. I'm loving the Ward Sisters series. I picked up the Winter Crenshaw book you read on KU. I've read a number of this authors books and enjoyed them so I'm thinking I will enjoy it.

That's one of the reasons I haven't read Karla Sorensen in a while. Because of her formula of taking the majority of the book to get the characters together (which is totally fine! I prefer a slower burn to insta love) but then once the characters bone, she speed things up by jumping time and "telling" us this and that and then BAM, the book ends. I got really annoyed with her formula after bingeing several of her books then decided to give her a break. Sucks to see that her formula is still the same.

You feel like you’re missing stuff in The Plan because it’s part of a series. Not only is it mid-book in a series but it’s also a spin-off of another series so a lot of background there. I made the same mistake with another one of the books in this world and I was so confused at first!

smart of you to DNF The Secret!! I read it recently and was really excited (I love romances set in academia), but it let me down so hard. Especially the ending it was...not good (to me)

Omg sorry - had to come back and comment on this. Tried reading Stone Cold on your recommendation and was kindof floored by the old-school misogyny/pick-me-ism. I feel like that’s a low bar to clear in this day and age?? “she was witty and funny and genuine and didn’t reek of desperate insecurity like most of the other girls … who were falling down drunk and wearing hardly more than a couple squares of fabric on their overly tanned bodies” ^ wtaf Any feminists relying on these recs, maybe skip this one …..
