WHAT return no way. Keep what you have - love it. I use the clip on my retangular so it sits a bit higher on my hip. I spray everything with a good water proof spray that I get from the shoe repairers, then respray every 6 months.

Even though I like the new top handle shopping bag style I think you should keep this mini if you have to choose between the two. Really love the pink tweed I wouldn’t mind one. I purchased a Chanel rectangular mini in pink tweed last spring and promptly returned it. I use my Chanel collection on rotation and could not justify how dirty this bag would have become. I’m super careful with my bags, but did not want to be afraid to use such a delicate bag.

The mini rectangular tweed is nicer than the tweed top handle, but the caramel top handle was my favorite. The caramel this season is such a beautiful color. 24A had a beautiful fuchsia pink and purple tweed! It's hard to say when you got the only one in Australia! And you're already attached! with the matching shoes! She already came home! hahahaha It's also a more neutral tweed, but I guess it depends on the color of the other handbag. ;) All rationalization goes out the door with vibrant colors lol! The flats were the #1 item on my Wishlist for this collection!!! I didn’t put my name down for the mini as I assumed it would be too hard to get and I already asked for the 24A tweed mini so didn’t want to double up. But when that bag didn’t come and my SA showed me this one I just couldn’t turn it down haha! The caramel top handle is a better size but I didn’t like the strap how there is a flat leather bit and not chain all the way. So when you using it as a top handle bag it hangs a bit awkwardly. The smaller version is full chain so looked nicer, they didn’t have it that day tho. And yes Mary!!! I was already attached to this mini after I unboxed her🙈 so I actually decided I’ll keep and buy the other tweed mini. Then when I went to the store to buy it, my SA showed me the tweed top handle cutie and I felt conflicted again lmao!!! 🤣 my SA was so nice. She said she will hold both bags for me and told me to just take the night to think it over and come again the next day 🤪 I hope I made the right decision!!! Hi babe. The tweed flats and tweed mini rectangle are perfection. I would not exchange the pink tweed mini rec for the other pink tweed top handle bag. In the long run, if you want yo sell, the dome shaped pink tweed bag won't be as popular. ❤

The bag looks adorable with that white outfit, and it also looked fab with your S. Max Mara coat. Given your wardrobe, I would keep it. In fact, since I have this same mini tweed bag, you inspired me to get an S. Max Mara coat of my own! But since I'm petite, I went with a slightly different style (the Arona coat in very similar light color). I know folks who've sprayed their Chanel tweed with Saphir, but I don't know about the sequins... that's the part giving me pause. If I get up the courage to spray my tweed bag, I'll let you know how it goes. As for the similar top handle bag...are you going to use it if it doesn't fit your phone? For me, a bag has to fit my phone, otherwise it's a deal breaker.

EDIT: Ok, I got up the courage to do a test spray to a small bottom section of the tweed bag. I did it in the noon direct sunlight, so I could see very clearly, and I took photos and video of the bag, especially the sequins, before and after. I checked the bag a few minutes after, and then an hour after I sprayed. I used SAPHIR Medaille d’Or Super Invulner - Waterproof Spray. I chose this spray because ladies on the purse forum said they've regularly used it on their Chanel tweed and that it worked well for them. The good news is that I saw zero difference between the before and after on the test section. So, I went ahead and sprayed the bottom and back of the bag only. I'll keep my eye on it for the next several weeks and see if the tweed and sequins have a delayed reaction before I decide whether to spray the top, front, and sides. But, so far so good!

Hello beautiful 😍 so excited to read your msg and hear about your tweed mini and new coat!! Congratulations my love! 😘 thank you so much for sharing with me what you did regarding the spray!! I did similar thing. I thought I’ll sacrifice the shoes 🤣 so I sprayed one shoe first, waited a day and compared it to the other shoe and saw no noticeable difference as well! The sequins didn’t seem to be affected at all which was surprising!!! I’ve had other bags in the past where it made shiny leather a bit dull. But I think good idea to take photos and videos before and after to compare that way too! I will remember to do that next time! Thank you for sharing your experiences with me 🙏 I super appreciate it!!! I actually havnt heard of that spray you used before, so I’ll have to look into it!! I hope you enjoy your beautiful tweed mini my love! It is such a special gorgeous bag!! Oh and in regards to the top handle style, I would def use it if it doesn’t fit my phone. I love mini bags haha. It’s only a deal breaker for me if the price is too high and still doesn’t fit phone. That one the price is acceptable 🤭 but I know for many ppl not being able to fit phone would be a deal breaker

I love the top handle more as it’s different and I love a top handle bag, plus it still matches your 🩰 flats, but if it doesn’t fit your phone you might not wear it as much as the mini rectangular even though you love smaller bags or SLG’s.🤷‍♀️ You would save $2k and can put those funds towards your other tweed bag you want 😁 I’m sure you can use a fabric protector spray but I’m not sure about the sequins and how they would react. I’m the same choosing bags, I overthink it, but at these prices you really have to love it as it’s still a costly fabric bag at the end for the day 🤦‍♀️
