I'm guy and I love CHANEL fragrances , however , I dislike pretty much all their men version expect Egoiste and Plat Egoisite . People find it wierd that I dislike Bleu de CHANEL , the woman at retail store was like How dare you . She took me to CHANEL women section and she tried on me N5 and Coco Madmoiselle CHANEL . I found N5 soapy smell obscene . But When I smelled Coco Madmoislle CHanel , I thought this juice was made in heaven , I kept sniffing my arm for like 5 min and I've bought the 35 ml the one you have . I don't care if it's marketed for woman , my rule is : if I like it , I take it

I am one of those people that does not like BLEU de CHANEL at all! It smells cheap and boring to me and if anybody dares to try and make me feel like "how dare I not like it", I give them a piece of me ;) haha! But yeah, Perfumes are genderless! Always trust your instinct and your own nose! Never let anybody tell you what suits you! Only you know what suits you! It’s amazing b/c this JUST DOESNT LAST ON ME. And I live in a tropical country!! Must be the reformulations…. I used to really dislike it, but I now I really like it! I feel it makes a perfect versatile any time/anywhere fragrance! Looking to add the 100 ml to my collection.

+Super Dacob Thanks Dacob! Have just unboxed it, she is gooorgeous! ^v^ Super happy! My SA was so lovely, she remembered that I like the no.5 l'eau so she gave me a tone of sample sprays to tie me over till the launch later in the month, plus a selection of sublimage samples. Ended up getting my other staple, Eau Fraische as well in the end. Always get compliments for Eau Fraische and Mademoiselle. Officially a Chanel addict now i think. haha Proudly one too. XD

+Super Dacob I absolutely agree with u Dacob and that's exactly how I feel also! it's wonderful that another person over the otherside of the world shares in this same passion. Just to update u, my 1932 is still on the way but I have now FINALLY, visited the newly opened boutique in Britomart, just opened on last wk. Wonderful SA again, got the 200ml bottles of Gardenia and Beige and was given samples of all the other Les Exclusifs! No beautiful 4ml bottles like the ones u have, it's the 2ml spritz ones but great for collecting. Super happy! Wallet dented but talk abt happy place! Thanks for sharing ur passion and for the updates. Love from Nz always. ^_^

I love how you're the first one who understands my feelings about this perfume. I love it, I love wearing it. Still, when I wear it, it feels like it's too much. Like the sharpest ingredient from the perfume is in my nose the whole time. I feel very Paris when I wear it, but that's probably bc of the big bottles, they are just so perfect. X love watching ur videos, makes me miss u "less".

I think this is at the top of my Christmas wish list now. I laugh at myself the opening when I first spray it I say to myself, “gourmet orange creamsicle.” I imagine it on fine china with a garnish. I have the EdP and the EdT and I prefer the EdT on my skin. It feels brighter in the opening and less powdery than the EdP. The EdP lasts forever in my skin and it is a bit claustrophobic after a few hours. Feels a bit heavy on me. I get what you mean about the enveloping effect.

I feel exactly the same about this fragrance. Love it in the bottle, on my clothes and on other people but just not on me - way too severe. It's crazy! But I keep it around for the bottle and continue to try. :)

I have a sample so I dabbed my wrists with CM & I’m just not loving it. I smelled heavy florals which I can’t stand. The projection is very good, because I used a very small amount & my son could smell it on me, so if you love the scent that’s always a plus. I have a feeling if I sprayed my chest which I always do with my fragrances I’d develop a headache . I believe it’s popular because there are a lot of younger people who want to own a Chanel fragrance, they love strong floral scents, & they believe if they wear this one no one will accuse them of wearing an old lady scent!

I wish the fashion houses don’t just reformulate the scent without us knowing it. They should have name it differently after reformulation if the scent has changed. It’s so confusing with all that upgrade/ reformulation.

Since there is no law that forces them to say they have reformulated the fragrances, the brands do not let us know because they wish to make as much profit as possible.

Super Dacob but if the customer is familiar with the old scent, they will figure out the different. Recently I went to buy the Miss Dior (pink colour), I pointed out the scent at the counter is different from the sample I got before, then the shop assistant told me that Dior has reformulated this perfume. I nearly spent over NZD$300 on the new version. Luckily I found the old version on sale at duty free mall in Auckland, New Zealand.

Hey! Love the review please tell me... difference between pure parfum, eau de parfum and eau de toilette in your opinion Please... I had a pre 2012 EDP and the juice has last forever because everyone wears it and also the scent is tough as u mentioned... I need to be in a certain mood, but I just bought the parfum and I feel more lychee...... closer to the edt instead of edp but please tell me which u like best and least. Kisses

Hi Steven. Each concentration also plays with ingredients and balances in a different way. We all percieve perfumes in a different and personal intimate way so I can only tell you how the different concentrations of COCO MADEMOISELLE smell to me: The EDP is to my nose the most acidic and it only really works with me when I spray it on my clothes and not on my skin. The EDT is lighter and easier to pull off on more skin types. The PARFUM opens up agressive but mellows down softer and closer to the skin as it dries down. The PARFUM is also the concentration I feel offers the wearer most room for their own personality to shine. I would say for me (at the moment, but my mood and opinion can change in warmer months or depending on humidity and time of the day) I like best the PARFUM, then the EDT and last spot the EDP. xoxo

I really want to love this scent. It kills me to say it’s not for me. I have loved the original Coco since it’s release but I just can’t stomach CM. I’ve sampled it several times on my skin but it just inevitably gives me a headache. The top notes seem to be the harshest. I’m not big on orange blossom or mandarin in large amounts, so maybe that combined with the florals don’t jive with me.

This was the first perfume I gave to my nice when she graduated from High School. She adores it. I appreciate it but for me it is too pink bubblegum infused cotton candy for me. I kind of have a love hate relationship with it. I want to love it but.... ... I did love hearing your take...you made me want to smell it again. Dear Cookie, it all depends on the skin chemistry. Generally speaking I think the eau de toilette COCO MADEMOISELLE can be used by a very young person but it needs to fit the skin chemistry becasue it can go quite acidic on some skins in which case it wouldn't be a case of "too old" but just "not good". So I don't think its too "old lady" for a 16 year old :) xoxo

I loathe this smell. I know its popular but every time I try it and like you its a scrubber. it's absolutely awful, it irritates my nose,doesn't smell nice maybe it's my chemistry. first time I tried it I ended up using it as bathroom spray to use it up and funnily enough it smelt better that way. every time I pass it I spray it hoping maybe I'll experience what makes coco mademoiselle so popular and after two minutes I literally have to wash it off. i guess mademoiselle is not for me and I'm actually glad about that.I don't want to wear a scent that is too popular. xx

Laugh all you want dear. The joke's on you! COCO MADEMOISELLE EDP used to be made also in 35ml spray in al elongated bottle as you see in my video. This is NOT a hair mist. Do your homework before you try to laugh at others. You will only make a fool of yourself as you just did...
