Wow this showed up on youtube this morning and I was soooo excited to see it, as I just got my first bottle of this--they sent me a sample with my No. 5 EDT several months ago. I really love this one. Also just found my first bottle of JPG parfum. SO beautiful and yes, theater lights, makeup, dress-up beauty. Thanks for such poetic descriptions. Warming my heart!!!!

Great video Dacob!! I always play dumb when I go into the Chanel boutiques or the counters at department stores so I can get free samples - it works until they ask me if I want to be put into the system and then realise I'm already in it lol. I bought the Coco Mademoiselle Intense (stupidly only the 50ML, when the 100ML is only £30 more) on Saturday and I'm in love with it and far prefer it over the original CM EDP and I also have a preference with it over Gabrielle and L'Eau. The SA was lovely and kindly told me about the note differences but of course, I'd already read it online beforehand lol and she knew it was for myself and did not assume it was a gift, which I always appreciate!!!! I can't wait for the BdC Parfum and Nº5 hand creams!! xoxo

Haha! Great points Sean! They figure us out when we get to the cash register! Unless of course you tell them you are not in their system and do not wish to be inserted either, which of course could have its cons as a gesture too. LOL! The trick is to insure yourself all the goodies before hitting the payment ;) I will wear CMI but probably will not repurchase after its empty... but then again, by the time my 100ml will be empty, they might have already by then re-tweaked the formula and taken the fishy note out of it... but I might just get used to the fishy note since it does make it different from all other perfumes I have smelled and I kind of do appreciate that for a change. LOL.

You have the best style on KZbin! I think the runways copy you. If they don’t, they should I’m a lifelong coco mademoiselle lover. But for a few years about 10 years ago it didn’t mix well with my body chemistry. So glad I tried again. I gag every time I see the old half full bottles I have from years ago that I couldn’t use. Thank you for sharing this. I’ve known since adulthood that you need to sample and walk around for at least 30 minutes to get the real smell on yourself. Your videos are so informative I almost ordered this intense version. So glad I found your video Thank you

You are amazing & fascinating! Thank you for sharing your knowledge, you’re like the Yoda of Chanel fragrances. Recently stopped by a Chanel counter & left with a sample of CM Intense, but it was the strangest perfume sample I ever saw. Couldn’t get it open and ended up tearing the damn thing apart, only to have it suddenly spray itself all over me, lol. That was a surprise I wasn’t expecting! Anyway, I totally got the juicy, fruity opening you described and on drydown it completely changed & I got the slightly vulgar scent you described but also experienced a strong smokiness lingered throughout, which you mentioned only after you added the Gardenia. Isn’t that interesting? I never got any of the metallic salmon note, however, in my sample.

Hi Dacob! :) I finally had a chance to sniff Coco Mademoiselle Intense! You are so right about the opening - it's really nice, better than Coco Mademoiselle edp. Full of promises. Unfortunately, the dry down is weak and a bit disappointing. In the opening I smell a bit of Bottega Venetta, don't you? Something leatherish, which I like. At least, on my skin. But what it most reminds me of is the smell they spray inside Massimo Dutti store. I don't know if you've ever been to one or even if they smell the same in the US as in here (Poland), but it's exactly that scent that they spray inside their store that I detect in the new Coco Mademoiselle Intense. So it's as if they layered the Coco Mademoiselle edt (yes, edt, not edp) and a bit of Bottega Venetta and the Massimo Dutti shop spray ;) Lots of love from Poland ❤️

Here I am again checking out your Chanel videos. I am happy to hear someone else find Coco Mademoiselle has a skankiness and acidity on their skin. I thought it was just me. It was not my favorite but I never tried Intense. My thought was “it was awful enough on me in the first place, so why would I want the awful to be more intense?” 😂 I may try it, which would not have occurred to me before this video. Tonight I am currently grooving to No. 22. It is gorgeous!

I’m 46 years old and I swear people have more allergies than they used to! I don’t want to buy an EDT but at work I fear that my coworkers will be all sneezy and angry with me if my perfume is too strong. It feels very dicey to apply perfume properly for the perfect amount of sillage.

Funny that you mentioned Chanel coming out with a No. 5 hand cream! Just recently I've been wondering that it'd be awesome if they made a hand cream for that line. My wish has been heard :) lol. Anyway great first impressions. I found that CM Intense has a more present fruity/creaminess that I can't detect in the CM EDP, but I'm liking it!

Oh yes, both our wishes! I am LOVING the idea of N°5 hand cream :) The creaminess and fruitiness is a nice touch in CM Intense but my problem is the low quality bland dry down of the Intense :/ xoxo

Huh! Go figure! More and more of us smell it in there... what was CHANEL thinking? Although if I over-spray (tested it that way yesterday) then the salmony touch isn't that present anymore... but then its so clearly COCO MADEMOISELLE that I felt a bit uncomfortable to go through town wearing it because it felt like everybody wears COCO M... strange for sure... either way...

Yes, they will be releasing the all over body spray of N°5 but I do not care for it since when I use N°5 I either use the pure parfum or the EDT (rarely EDP and L'EAU) and I do not like to mix the pure parfum with a body mist. Doesn't work for me but having a cream just on my hand to hydrate my hands while the rest of my body has the actual pure parfum on... now THATS my kinda music ;) xoxo

Super Dacob i agree. Thats how i wear CHANCE and Coco Noir. parfum either by dabbing or via spray atomizer then touch up with the edt although for noir its the etp of course. Its one of my favorites. I am really curious about bleu parfum. I actually cant wait until we get it at our chanel counter. I live for bleu edt!!

Hello Dacob, I loved mademoiselle EDT in my twenties but now I have graduated to No.5. Recently my husband gifted me Coco MADEMOISELLE EDP and it gives me headache every time i try wearing it ( my husband loves it on me ). I tried the intense version of mademoiselle on a Chanel counter but my husband prefers the original. I think he will have to give up on COCO and deal with me wearing a lot of No.5. ;-)

Hi Sandra. Are you talking about Coco Mademoiselle or another fragrance? The two COCO MADEMOISELLE fragrances I use in my video are 35ml Eau de parfum (old bottle before they changed shape for their 35ml EDPs!!!!!! ) and 100ml Eau de parfum Intense.

Sorry to comment so much, Dacob, but I just wanted to add that since my last comment I went to the department store to get my Clinique bonus time, and I stopped by the perfume counter. Deep down, I want No. 5, but I'm trying to avoid because it's my mom's. I smelled CM Intense on a card and I did like it. They sent me home with a sample of it (Yay!) but I sprayed No. 5 l'eau on my skin, so I'm expecting now to have a lovely day! They also sent me home with samples of YSL Black Opium and D&G Dolce.
