I have the 2017 collection. I think it was $250 then, which I thought was spendy....but as with any luxury item, it was money very well-spent! I was able to try all of the Les Exclusifs without buying the big bottles. More importantly, it has brought me so much pleasure. I still smile whenever I open the box. I refer to this as my "little box of toys." People think I'm crazy when I say that. 🤣 it's how I fell in love with Sycomore.❤ I still have good amounts left and use them all the time for variety. That said, I debated on buying this set, thinking I didn't need this. When I decided I needed this set in my life too, it was sold out... sigh... and yes, these sets are just too adorable! Thank you Denise 🙏🏻💖 the 2017 set was a great collectible. And there are actually three full sets made between 2007 and today. Chanel really makes these sets once in a blue moon… i think that one new updates set every six years or so is perfectly fine. It gives the brand the time to release new perfumes and then when they re release the set, they also have enough new perfumes to add to said set, making it special again.

@Essence-tially Dacob My set does not have Boy. All others at the time were included. They launched Boy either right before or after the 2017 set, so it was not included in mine. It is great that they offer these once there are enough releases to justify another indulgence. 🤑💯❤️😍

Hi Dacob after trying all of the fragrances in the set I can honestly say that the Gardenia is my definite favourite! I've just ordered the Gardenia extrait partum in 15ml size! I also loved the Sycomore and No18. I have Paris-Biarritz in a full size 125ml bottle which is lovely with the citrus and Lilly of the valley notes. I bought one set for personally use. It's nice to have the full collection. I don't love all of the scents enough to own a full bottle of each. I also have quite a few 4ml bottles in the EDT formula.

I bought it too because as you said sometimes I have a sample with a purchase but it’s always the same ones like beige, boy, gardenia and I don’t have a store near me so I know it’s not worth the price, 475$ Canadian dollars plus tax (546$) but this way I can finally try them all!!!🥰😍

Well its not worth it if you look at what you get… the miniature bottles are technically the size of the freebies they give you in some shops with purchase. So for it to really be worth it I would have expected chanel to design at least a 5ml bottle just for purchase in order to differentiate from the 4ml sample bottles. Cuz right now, they are selling us the sample bottles at about 19 bucks a bottle… its a lot in my opinion unless you are collector as am I. So I bought the set cuz I love it but I am aware that it is a rip off in a way… 💖

Oh yes and you guys should be getting the release down under on the 4th of June if I am not mistaken. If you want this set then I suggest you let your SA know you want one cuz in the US they were all gone in minute… its very expensive for what it is but it is a cutie and a must have for us collectors and they do only release these once in a blue moon. Last time was 2017… and the time before that was around 2007/8… so next time might be 2030… 😳 but it is a set of samples basically that chanel is charging a lot for 😅🤣 classic chanel right? 😂

The free 4ml chanel les exclusifs sample bottles are always in glass. They were never made in hard plastic. The bottles in this set are also all in glass.
