This is the third video I’ve seen on the Laques and all have had issues with it, which is a shame because they are beautiful colours. I love that blush and the nail polish - gorgeous!

Same! In Michele Wang’s video she said that her Chanel SA told her (after seeing a video where she was having similar issues) that they were trained to apply the liquid shadow over the stylo. But that seems to not be the answer!

Right, that didn’t work very well for me - I’ve found really they only way the bronze one looks OK is if I paint it right on in the exact shape I need it to be and do absolutely no blending whatsoever - as soon as I try to blend, it becomes a patchy mess! It can still get patches without blending but they can be fixed up by adding a second layer after the first has dried 🤷‍♀️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

You made the eye products look great but that’s more work than I’m willing to put into eye products apply evening. The matte neutral blush is very pretty and I love both lipsticks! 😍

Hi Kate! I love this makeup look on you! It’s so beautiful and elegant. I sadly missed out on Lisa Eldridge’s Dance Card lipstick and I was wondering if maybe the shade Low Key from the Chanel collection could give a similar color effect. Thank you!

Really good question! I really should have compared with Dance Card in the video! I do think Low Key will give a similar effect for sure - a sort of retro feel, and similar colours. I’ll post a comparison swatch on my community tab shortly so you can see! 🥰❤️ 🥰❤️ 🥰❤️

Collections are gorgeous, I changed my mind by not picking laque instead of that I go for 2 lipsticks, nail polishes ,and 1 or 2 contour eye liners,I loved the comparison video too ,I dont have both the Lisaeldridge lipsticks so I picking up this 2 lipsticks from chanel☺🤗🤗🤗,thank you dear for sharing your review 🤗🤗🤗🤗

My SA said you have to shake the Laques, then pat them on and blend only the edges

Ah, I see! Thank you ❤️ 🥰. I have played more with the bronze one since and have found that even just trying to blend the edges doesn’t work for me, but it does work if I layer and don’t blend at all (ie for a graphic eye or used just as a liner). 💕

Hello Kate, Except for the eyes I thought everything looked quite glamorous on you, especially the red lipstick ♥️ ♥️ I don’t really like most bronzers so I was hoping I could use the blush instead, maybe with a bit of blush or not? It was subtle but I thought it was particularly flattering on you, different than usual blush. What did you think after wearing it for a while? I hope your having a happy week ♥️♥️♥️

Thank you Rhonda! I think the blush would work very nicely in place of bronzer and with or without an additional blush! I think it is quite a special shade, and I like how subtle and buildable it is!! Still loving in and I find it very versatile and natural looking!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

wow--what a stunning thumbnail (and IG post for this video)! this makeup look really suits you! I got the laque that is sort of gray (forget the French name, sorry) or silver and I really like it, although it is a bit fussy. I also got the nail polishes--the two beige ones. I passed on the blush because I have the (old formula) Jersey color that seemed similar?

I love the look of the blush, so original - I will definitely get that. You look really nice in everything but I know I wouldn't use the stylos and lacques. I think I purchased the lipstick formula before and it moved around too much for my taste, would be interesting to know how you found it wore.

I agree, the blush is quite special! Interesting to hear about your experience with the lipstick formula - I actually found it wore quite well and didn’t bleed - wore it through a meal and there was still some pigment, pretty evenly on my lips. I know what you mean about the texture - it does feel a little slippy ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

No Kate you’re not wrong. Every single review I’ve watched has bought the same two colours and said EXACTLY the same thing - no matter what technique used. I’m glad I bought I different colour! I reckon you should all return them en masse. They are essentially a faulty product I think arguably lawfully. As you say. Not really good enough. Too bad. I actually liked the colour story.
