Hey guys and welcome to my channel. Last year I posted an unboxing of my Chanel square mini in lambskin, which I absolutely love. I used this bag so often and I wanted to record this video for you. After owning this bag in the lambskin leather, I realised that this leather is simply not for me. As much as I love the look of it, it’s way too delicate if you intend to use your bag very often. Given the recent price increase, these bags just became unaffordable.
What is your experience of owning a Chanel bag in Lambskin? Would you buy a bag in this leather again?

This is always an interesting conversation. I’ve realized I really prefer black chanel handbags in lambskin, as I don’t love the caviar leather in black, it’s a little lack luster. I’ve recently fallen in love with Chanel caviar leather in color, it’s such a different experience, I’ve seen some colors almost mimick lambskin in the shiny ness. It would be interesting to see what would have happened to a caviar piece had it suffered the same fate as your lambskin, that is so heartbreaking mama! Great vs video 🥰🥰🥰

I purchased my chanel bags all in caviar leather. I tried on lamb skin mini in chanel Boutique and it is so delicate. I hope chanel can come out with mini in caviar soon. I bought a small Business Affinity and used in like a mini bag. Thanks for sharing your view. Love you video😍

Your Chanel bags are lovely. I do purchase Lambskin as well as caviar. Yes, the Lambskin does show more marks etc. In the USA, our Chanel boutiques will only "spa" your bag for the first 3 years after purchasing (with proof). After that we have to take our bags to a bag repair shop! Ridiculous for their prices. But I love the feel of Lambskin ♡

I would never buy Lambskin either. I know how much you care for your bags. We're the same, and obsessed with keeping our bags looking new. For there to be any wear on your bag, I know it's because it's too delicate.

Useful video by showing how lambskin scuffs. I only wore my mini rectangle lamb skin in beige color once. The top edge of the side pocket scuffed badly. Lamb skin is definitely not worth it.

Lamb looks so elegant and luxury though, very special. With all the durability of caviar, there is some fragility and baby sweetness about lamb. Hope it doesn't sound weird haha For that reason I would never say never about lamb, I truly think it is gorgeous. (Some wear and tear are normal, it is still a bag with functionality to do:). Amazing bag collection! x

You should try the Chanel reissue in mini size ( distressed calfskin), the same price as regular mini. It is fabulous and more durable.

I love lambskin especially on classic flaps just because they look super gorgeous & chic. But it's so delicate that we have to be extra careful, especially when we wear rings and keep long nails. Question- I was eyeing a trendy cc bc I’m such a top handle girl. I’ve watched so many reviews but people seem to love the bag even though it’s lambskin. Do you think the trendy is more durable that’s why not so many complaints about the leather?

luxluv 101 I had a trendy bag in light blue but I gave it to my mom. It got scratched a lot and I was very careful with it.

It depends on how soft the leather is.. some bags have that and some don’t.. I don’t find this to be an issue

From what I have heard, the matte lambskin you see with cool tone colors is far more delicate than the shiny lambskin you see on the classic double flap in black. The shiny ones have coating on them so they are much more durable than the matte finish once.
