Jill, thank you so much for doing this video. I learned a lot. 🤔 You didn't mention color transfer. I watched several videos on LV patent leather, and mostly everybody mention color transfer. You are right about choosing bright colors for summer in patent leather. I am still entertain the idea of getting one perfect summer bag in patent leather. Thank you again my dear friend.

You are quite welcome Oxana! I was happy to do it. I haven't experienced any color transfer, but these are both relatively dark bags. I wonder whether any color transfer could just be cleaned off since the patent is so easy to clean.

Hi Jill, thank you for reply. It looks like color transfer is specific issue with LV patent bags. But, you are right not to invest in patent leather. I am looking for seasonal bag from Chanel. I find one on pre-loved market in great condition. It’s patent grained leather. Here is link: www.yoogiscloset.com/catalog/product/view/id/103954/ What are your thoughts on this bag? Is it too much to pay?

I think your two chanel bags are gorgeous! I would be bothered by the crease. I don't own any chanel patent leather but own two Louis Vuitton patent leather bags. I love them....... I wish I had a LV alma BB in a patent (Vernis Leather). Great video!!

I agree that the creasing doesn’t actually bother me. In fact, I wear it and think of the creases as character. That said I don’t think I’d purchase add’l patent leather bags.

What about SLG patent do you recommend it?

I've never had SLGs in patent leather and personally wouldn't purchase one for fear of excessive creasing. Maybe if it were a zippered pouch or something like that where you didn't have a flap that would bend and unbend when opened and closed it would be ok. xoxo
