Thanks for your advice on fighting fomo. I'm a sucker for a lilac or light purple bag so I agree, Dacob- the 22 is tempting in that lilac shade. But yes, the metal "CHANEL" should go and the medallion I am on the fence with. The main drawback is however as you noted that it's a simplistic design...should it cost a similar amount to a (now a classic apparently although it was not when I purchased) a mini flap? No But props to Chanel for bringing some of that 90's flair back to their handbag offerings. Also.....LOVE your seasonal flap. So gorg 😍

Hi Dacob, there was nothing particularly exciting to me for the SS 2022 collection. The backpack caught my eye, but it looks small online. That tote looks like it will be slouchy. Do you think they’ll release the GST again? Not a fan of the preloved market, so buying a used one isn’t appealing.

The only thing that I like about this bag is it’s length: I’ve always thought that a bag should fit to the body just like clothes do. And because I have a rather apricot type silhouette, I love medium sized shoulder bags that fit in the curve of the waist. That’s why I find the medium classic flap (or 2.55) so flattering- it’s a genius design that only a haute couture designer could imagine. That’s an aspect that I was trying to express once in Dior SAs and was never understood: years ago I looked for a Saddle bag for that exact reason and they insisted to take a Lady D instead, which I didn’t, as I would never feel it as a part of me. Besides that, although I tried really hard, I cannot love 22, mainly because I don’t see any special creativity in it. I think it’s going to be popular for those who just want to show off the logo..... Sorry for the long comment 😳 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
