It’s a hit. Blue eyeshadow has been an aging ‘no no’ for decades but I’m loving this. Going to buy and use it sparingly. Love the blush too. Update on my quest for the Rivage eyeshadow: I ordered it a month ago. My sale went through. 3 days later Chanel canceled my order. I have been searching for it ever since. Found it in Seattle. Sooooooooo, yesterday my lovely hubby said “I’ll take you to Seattle to get it”. So we drove 5 hours(should have been 3 but there was a huge pileup on the Interstate near Ft. Lewis), and I got the LAST Rivage shadow palette. They were so nice at Chanel Boutique Beauty store. Great sales people. They played with the coral palette on me(bought it), then the blush (bought it), and the glow stick(bought the last one), and the new Lipsticks(bought 2). Successful trip! If you are going to drive 200 miles for eyeshadow you might as well buy more. 😂😂😂 plus I walked away with some beautiful samples. My local Nordstrom, the only place to buy Chanel in my city, still has not seen the Spring 24 collection.

That’s a beautiful look, Sarah. I definitely getting blue one, not sure yet about coral one. Want to see how it compare to tweed collection was kind of coralish one . Blush I do like the coral one, but not sure yet. I just got 2 les beiges blushes. And also want to see how it compare to La Pausa collection blush. I don’t think I need anymore nail polishes. I got 2 just before holidays, then I got 2 from holidays and 2 from les beiges. Although if I do get, it would be coral one, cause I recently purchased blue one, from main line . also want coral lip balm😂 Have a blessed day🙏❤️

Hi Tatiana, I didn’t purchase the coral blush from the Les Beiges collection. I only purchased the pink one. I noticed the powder in the Les Beiges blush is more tightly pressed compared to the spring blush. You’ll even notice the halo brush that is included in the Les Beiges blush is more tightly compact so that it is able to dig into the blush and pick up product. The blush in the spring collection is softer and I did find it was more pigmented. Although both serve different seasons I do find them different. The Les beiges range is known to be less pigmented since it is supposed to give off a more natural look

Sara, I'm a bit confused as to why the first Eye Quad was released before these other two. It's also very close since Christmas for a large release to be considered. Over the last few years Chanel has waited until March, at the earliest, to make a new release. Australia received the Delices Quad and Blush a full month before the US and I loved it so much that it didn't take long for the double C's to be worn completely off the Quad. I didn't purchase the blush. I believe these oversized products to be cash grabs and last year's didn't interest me at all. I really did like the Elcat de Nuit Quad, yet can easily put that together with what I have with little effort, but it was a lovely palette. I do like the Blue Rivage Quad and it was nice to see that you showed the blue shade in all of its glory. The other Quad simply didn't make sense. Two of the shades look identical to those in the Blush Duo! To me, it's simply not a cohesive look to mix coral/orange shades with bright pink and the frosty pink shade. It just looked odd. Personally, I would never use these shades together for an everyday look. I already have blush from the shades in the Duo and considering my low-buy, have no intention of purchasing anything I don't deem extra special. I own every eye palette from the Prada Range, which includes one with a pale blue. This isn't exactly my colour, unless built up with shades that mix in well, which the Prada one does. I did see the Chanel Highlighter used which is rather glittery and has a distinct blue shift to it. I already have blue highlighter and probably every other colour you could think of. The Baume Essential in Mermaid Glow, despite appearing a peach tone, looked quite nice, yet it's one of those products you either love or hate. I picked up the Lilac Balm Essential from last year. I'll only buy shades that can be used all over the face. I'd tap some on my eye-lids before adding the Lilac shade from the Delices Quad to intensify it. I'd also do this when using it as a highlighter when wishing to add more colour. I have a finally milled powdered lilac highlighter that I gently tap over the Baume which adds a tad more colour, or add a bit more of the Baume for that 'wet' look. It looks great on the lips too, depending on your skin-tone. I just felt it was far to early to put out another release yet, which is only showing up Chanel to be putting the almighty dollar ahead of its customers. I wish they woukd put more thought into their releases like that magical Byzance Collection of Quads last year which I totally fell for. I would have been happier if only the Eclat de Nuit and Blue Rivage Quads were released, along with the Highlighter, Baume Essential and maybe a more neutral brown-tone blush to match both Quads. Maybe Chanel should hire me instead?🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨

This collection won’t be released until March, I was able to purchase it early from my store to review. I do enjoy the balm essentials but feel once you have one you don’t really need another as they all end up looking similar with a glowy finish. Although some may disagree I do love the new spring collection by Chanel, I think that they are trying to be unique this year while also staying true to their classic brand 💕

Hi Sarah, since I purchase a lot of products to review I found that storing the palettes in their boxes is much easier for me to find later. This is why I love when brands create unique boxes that are color coded because it makes it so much easier to find that particular palette amongst the others.

But if I continue to do that I need more storage place that I don’t have 😅🥲 thinking to fold the boxes flat instead of throwing them away. Organizing makeup makes one realize how much I have. 😄

Hi Gail! you’re actually right 😅 Chanel always likes to bring the classics back and I do think older makeup trends do tend to come back in style. Really in person this color scheme looks pretty and eyeshadow formulas have gotten much better and definitely last longer than the eyeshadows in the 60s and even the 90s. I’m curious to know your thoughts on the coral treasure palette? I’ll have a review up soon

This look is blue eyeshadow done right. I remember the 1960s (yes, I am old), and THAT blue was horrible. You’ve applied with a light hand and have created a pretty wash of blue. That looks beachy and spring-ready. I’m considering the Rivage shadow, the eyeliner, and maybe the blue. Also that gorgeous blue nail lacquer is to die for, so I will get that as well. I enjoyed this video🩵

The shades would pop a lot more with eyeshadow primer. I can't go without it anymore. Without it my eyeshadow is barely there and creases, and none of the shine is visible. I really like the Mac one in the black tube. Would like to see the blue shade on top of primer.

At first I wasn't sure about that blue shade. I used so much blue eyeshadow in my teens and 20's that I thought I could never go back. But you totally sold me with that look, it's gorgeous on you! 💙

Love the eye palette-especially for us brown-eyed folks! I will pick this up since it looks like the blue will be the more saturated version of the blue from Byzance Parure Cristal palette (which I was hoping for). This Rivage palette looks like a cute blue and tan Eastern Bluebird in the best way!!

The blue from the Byzance Quad wasn't meant to show up as a brighter blue, just a hint like the blue in this Highlighter. I loved the Byzance Collection so much that I bought each one! Each Quad had its own 'sparkly' shade with a touch of colour. Cristal had the blue, Venetian had green, Imperiale had rose gold and Baroque the white. These sparkly shades were only meant as highlights, whereas this blue in Blue Rivage is meant as a shade in its own right. It's a lovely aqua looking blue too, which makes it more appealing. I usually keep away from pale blue as I feel it will wash me out, yet I bought the Prada Eye Palette, (which I also bought every one!), with the blue shade and mixed in the everything else, looked great. That's about as far as I'm willing to go with pale blue. Just not a flattering colour on my pale skin-tone. 💖

Im definitely going to try to get my hands on the 78 quad and the blush maybe the blue liner too . I wish they would stop with the glitter highlight, i was hoping it would be a lighter highlight with like the coral oversized formula smooth and pretty not glitter . Its like all the lighter cooler toned highlights have glitter now from them.

I have been very disappointed in my last three Chanel eyeliner purchases, which for me is surprising because I used to swear by the formula. It simply isn't the same; that's all there is to be said. The blush duo looks divine. I hope it performs well. Thanks for sharing.

My favorite eyeliners have been the ones by Victoria Beckham, they are creamy and glide on so easily. Also once they set they stay on all day. I haven’t purchased any other eyeliners since trying those ones. For the video coming up where I review the second palette in this collection I use the VB eyeliner and you’ll see how easily it glides on the eyes. Unfortunately I don’t own a blue shade in the VB eyeliners but if I did then I would have used it instead of the Charlotte Tilbury one as nothing else works quite as well

Hi Sarah! Yes I’m naturally a brunette. I usually ask for a natural balayage when I highlight my hair and I don’t put too many highlights in the roots so that my hair grows out more naturally and won’t feel like I need to add highlights too often. I usually highlight my hair once to twice a year and use purple shampoo once a week to keep the blonde fresh. I hope that helps 💕

Sorry to be negative but this is an awful collection. The color story for both palettes don’t make any sense and they are just one of the worst I have ever seen. They are totally unusable palettes.

This collection won’t be for everyone and I can definitely agree they’re not palettes you’d reach out for like a nude palette for instance. I do think the blush is very pretty and love the duo shades.
