I still cannot tell if the mini stingray boy bag from fashionphile is real or not. The dust bag which comes with look suspicious and also the bag comes with a Chanel belt box. I don’t know why 90% of the stingray bag from that time period at pre- love market doesn’t come with box. We thought it was real and when we tried to sell it in a store they told us it was fake we really thought it was real because we got the bag even with the receipt of the store that was bought on france. The worse is to sell a CZ as real. My daughter had her bike stolen at college along with a number of other students. The thieves took the entire rack and the bikes chained to it and put it in a large step van and drove away. She was more upset for a girl she didn't even know who owned a beautiful retro looking bike with a basket. She said the girl took such good care of the bike and my daughter started crying. It made me sick. When these women find out a bag they spent thousand on is fake, they are genuinely hurt. It isn't just money either. It is the feeling of being taken. So no the bags aren't "exactly" the same. I don't judge women who carry fakes - good for them. But I do judge people who knowingly misrepresent replicas as authentic. Intent is everything.

Be a little more stealth and pretend you actually bought something and say the actual price. I know you hate to commit to a price or show your cards to that extent but consumers want to show off what they know or brag about what they bought. So a consumer might say something like, "I got a Kelly 25 in bleu nuit with gold hardware for only 700 dollars, but I got a special deal on a bag they had in stock. I wanted bleu saphir but doing a special order was more expensive." or say, "I am planning on ordering one as a gift to myself when I get my bonus this year. " I can get a Birkin 35 for 1200.00 but with the special art work like in the video it would run me another 300 dollars depending on the design." (By the way, I made the figures up whole cloth.) I recently bought my first “pre-loved” bag. It’s the boy enchained from 2014 reissue according to the serial number. It seems to be authentic when comparing to my bags purchased from the boutiques directly, but there is a tiny difference in the logo color inside that I’m not sure of because it may have faded perhaps with time. My question to you is, for the toggle lock on the inside where the peg goes through to the front, should it be stamped with “Chanel” or is that plain because it’s inside and not seen?

For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the *amzrepe* as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.

I bought a fake one a year ago. The one I bought is much better quality than the fake one and the real one in the video. Now, nobody can tell if it's real or fake unless you look at it half an inch away. It's too rude to ask people anyway. I've seen coworkers with fake LV and Channel that were obviously fake, but I didn't ask. Therefore, I don't like killing more animals to make a leather bag. I will stick with the fake ones. If I get robbed and my bag is taken, it won't hurt my self-esteem *aceluxs*

Lovely collection! I bought my first LV when I was 25 years old. I only used that bag a few times, haha. Also, love your friends! I have an Eva clutch in the DE print and love the little chain. But I don't want to spend so much money now, I have bought the bag I want from *topluxs* , it is as good as LV and is one of my favorite things. Durability

Hi Erica, I just recieved my Chanel boy bag. Everything looks authentic following your guideline. But I did noticed the 2nd or bottom lower hardware button on the strap is able to loosen and twist out the screw . Is this normal? As for the smell I can't tell the difference because it smells just like a new leather handbag from a dept store.

Hi! No it’s not normal, but doesn’t necessarily mean the bag is a fake. Could be quality control issues, so I’d try to bring it to a Chanel boutique and have it checked! 😊

Yes, Gucci fakes just within the past several months even, have gotten very good, sadly!

First of all, if you buying your bag from the Chanel store or any other place where they verify the bag is authentic - why you care to spot a fake one? y’all got too much time on ya hands if you are around here clockin folks bags to see if they are real
