Changgwi are evil spirits in traditional Korean fairy tales that act as the slaves of a tiger after being killed by a tiger. They always look for victims to replace them because someone else have to be killed by a tiger and become Changgwi so that they can escape the tiger and go to the underworld. This song is Changgwi's point of view, and from "In the mountain full of fearful whispers, there comes to Tiger" in the middle of the song, it changes to Tiger's point of view. NAMUAMITABUL means "return to the Amitabha". People thought that chanting Namuamitabul could save them. In this song, Changgwi mumbles "Namuamitabul" to mock the traveler. He is confident that the traveler cannot exorcise him with this Buddhist prayer. It's like Satan chant the Lord's Prayer. *Asura Balbalta(Asura salvarta) means "will of Asura," but it's just a spell without meaning that people use when they want something. *Mountain God/Mountain King In ancient and medieval Korea, people called tigers a Mountain God or a Mountain King in awe of tigers.
