Becket Cook shares how he went from being a successful Hollywood set designer with his identity rooted in his sexuality, to a sudden transformation through God. “My motivation for writing this book is not to win a debate… More than anything, my hope is that you will come away with a better understanding of this complex issue, from every angle, so you can make informed choices that affect eternity.”

You are not defined by skin color, culture, race, illness, career, intelligence, accomplishments or mistakes. You are who he says you are. He went to great lengths and willingly gave his own life in place of yours because he loves you that much. Centurion Guards Oh my goodness....thank you for saying that...even going to the park without parental supervision. And, am I correct that this is a sanctioned perverse lifestyle choice (homosexuality), practiced by some Boy Scout Leaders?? You are not safe anywhere!! I met an elderly man who told me his little girl was sexually molested in the basement of a church by a church leader, and it devastated her and still devastated this elderly man. I am not catholic, but there is NO WAY I would want my son to be an altar boy, choir boy or give ANYONE the opportunity in that environment to make, my son his "boy toy"!! THERE ARE JEFFREY EPSTEINS lurking in every PERCEIVED safe place in our world today. What about the PORNOGRAPHY that kids are being introduced to either intentionally (even by their own sick parents), or accidentally stumbling across it at a friends or relatives home. I know an individual who carries scars to this day from stumbling into pornography at an age so young and so easily confused and impressionable. This story by CBN was incredibly uplifting, inspirational, and socially challenging!!

I am a Christian of 20 years, and it really saddens me when people conjure up what they believe is the “homosexual lifestyle.” Sexual promiscuity, pornography adultery and polygamy are not congruent with being gay, those are completely separate from gayness and they don’t come with it as a side effect. It’s my prayer that God works on some of your hearts and you’ll realize that personal bias and a mix of bad decisions is not synonymous with sexuality.
@christopherscheiber1439

The description of homosexuality as a lifestyle is a blatent oversimplification of human sexuality in general and homosexuality in particular. The reason for this indoctrination of the collective societal psyche is paramount to the self validating delusion of heterosexuality possessing moral validity. The reason that we never hear the term " heterosexual lifestyle" is because there is no need to catogorize heterosexuality with such inherent connotative oversimplification in order to subconciously justify contempt and hatred through subjective comparison.

What I love about this story is his parents didn’t kick him out! I love how their parents remembered that love is the greatest commandment instead of resorting to condemning them all together simplify because he was gay. Jesus would have not condemned a homosexual, instead he would have said “come follow me.” Just like everybody else. Homosexuality does not get it’s special treatment, because we are all sinners In the eyes of God.

The description of homosexuality as a lifestyle is a blatent oversimplification of human sexuality in general and homosexuality in particular. The reason for such indoctrination of the collective societal psyche is paramount to the self validating delusion of heterosexuality possessing moral validity. The reason that we never hear the term " heterosexual lifestyle" is because there is no need to catogorize heterosexuality with such inherent connotative oversimplification in order to subconciously justify contempt and hatred through subjective comparison.

One can change their behavior, that does not change their fundamental sexual orientation. I have known gay men who could only function sexually with their wives by thinking of the male anatomy. They are still gay. Just as men in prison who can only function sexually with men while thinking about the female anatomy are still heterosexual.

I’m trans and gay. Never molested. Never done drugs. Not alcoholic. Not empty or unfulfilled. Happily monogamously married. Have fun fitting that into your narrative. The big difference is I don’t deal with unjust guilt because I’m not a Christian. Poor guy getting sucked in to this cult through their emotional manipulation. If he’s happy, yay for him, but I hope he doesn’t reach the end of his life and realize he wasted his brief time alive denying his natural attraction over a lie.

Mainstream Christianity doesn't fit the characteristics of a cult.. God loves you, but we are all sinners. Some of us sin in different ways. He wasn't guilty about his sexuality before, he was empty. When man is seperated from God we feel that way. I hope you will know more about God soon, have a beautiful day brother ♥️

ya s 1. I’m not anyone’s “brother”, I’d have to be male for that. I’m not even YOUR sister. 2. I’m not going to argue semantics. It’s a group of humans psychologically manipulating someone into believing they feel “empty” or “sick” and offering a fake cure to a disease they don’t have. It’s a lie. We are not all “sinners”. Being gay harms no one. 3. If you have to try to be straight, you’re not.

Clearly reading the comments most people are misinformed about gay people. I for one have NEVER been sexually abused and neither have any of my gay friends. We have spoken about this many times openly. I knew I was different for a very young age. I knew nothing about gay or the word gay. But I knew I felt very uncomfortable with woman when it comes to emotional things. Like holding hands, kissing etc. I also believe that yes there is people that turns out gay and is not actually gay. They gay from, yes abuse, confused etc. So please don't comment as if you know every single gay person in the world.

Some people suppress memories or feelings to the point where they can completely forget them. And as for being born gay, there isn't a proven gay gene. People are a product of their situation and surroundings. Not trying to pick a fight or to be right, just speaking from experience.

Don’t allow the world to tell you that being with the same sex is okay because God doesn’t approve of it. No sin is greater than the next sin is sin.
