The Company went out of business come on it's the company's fault. It's not his fault it's the company's fault. I signed the Petition because it's not his fault.

He clearly did not mean to cause this accident, this isn't justice for anyone, why add another death to the list?

Over and over the situation plays out like this: immigrant enrolls in a training program with a truck driving school that uses automatic shifting trucks and/or teaches the 'double-clutch' method. Driving school then helps trainee to get a job with a freight company that trusts the driving school's curriculum. New driver, working for a freight company in a flat land state, gets sent over the road thru a Rocky Mountain state. The new driver was not taught the 'speed-shift' method and loses control of the truck down a steep mountain grade when he can't get the transmission into gear using the double-clutch method.

Now all we need to do is to make sure we have an equal application of justice, where all the white truck drivers also get a life sentence for causing an accidental death, even if it was because of equipment failure and a subsequent judgment error while facing a life and death situation.

This has nothing to do with race. Quit being a bigot!

Here we go...Has nothing to do with race dude, it has to do with bad laws. Even if he was white, it would be the same sentence because that is the minimum sentence according to the law. It will most likely be reduced because I think he can appeal it. Anyways, people need to petition and try and help this guy out, but bringing rave into something it has nothing to do with doesn't help anyone, all it does is make you look racist.

Maybe if he could read English, AS REQUIRED BY THE CDL LAWS, he could have taken the runway ramp. But because he failed to take the last clear chance to avoid the wreck, he is at fault, “mechanical failure” notwithstanding. Yeah, his brakes failed - he was coming down the mountain too fast to begin with. His company had been hit numerous times in the previous 19 months with brake issues. Had he come down the mountain in a SANE manner, letting the engine do the work, he wouldn’t be in this situation. But, because he never took the time to LEARN ENGLISH, 4 people died and numerous others were injured.

He drove a faulty truck 110÷4 is roughly 27 years for each person who died seems fair to me

Have you ever made a mistake in your life? This man made one and now his life has been taken from him. No one is perfect. Yes he caused the accident; however, do you really think that warrants 110 years in prison? He did not do it on purpose, he simply made a mistake. He should be reprimanded for his failure to operate his vehicle but he shouldn’t have his life ruined all because of a mistake.
