@jaedonabbott44302 жыл бұрын
@@judgeholden849 nah, this is actually fairly common. Yes they deliver the verdict and ofc if there are cameras they’re likely to be a little more verbose about it, but their job is also to explain the verdict (why , in their estimation, you deserve a longer or shorter sentence within the sentencing guidelines, and why they think their sentence is reasonable given the specifics of your case). They are actually kinda supposed to be “counselors” in the sense that the sentence is (supposed) to rehabilitate you, and part of that process is knowing why you’re in there (ie not just that you did a crime that was bad but why the court thinks you deserve this specific sentence). But judges sentencing like this has been happening for DECADES it’s certainly nothing new.

Take the W and move on.
@DatDude923 Жыл бұрын
I hate to point out the obvious, but this is actually what our country is founded on. What happened to the Central Park five? That was a lie that incited race war, where are the people now that created a lie? Where is the judge? Everyone involved knew it was a lie. I 100% agree with you that if anyone does anything like this, they should 100% be held accountable. Also, with that being said, this is all because of a lie. If someone gets on a microphone and spews lies to insight, violence against any group of people should immediately be treated the same way we treat terrorist from other countries. Don’t you agree?
@DatDude923 Жыл бұрын
And the whole rant about “I am not suicidal”, as in direct reference to people tend to get murdered When they go against certain people. There was a man that had to have a child every day three times a day for over 30 years… instead of hyper “involved” people saying good riddance all they could say is “Epstein didn’t kill himself”. Again, I don’t understand why certain people embrace the criminal, but those same people screaming at the top of their lungs how much they hate people that do this to kids also defend the people that do this to Kids. In America, we need to hold people who do bad things accountable for the bad things that they do . if we can’t do that, we’re never gonna make progress as a “civilization”. What’s really messed up as I hear a black person say “I could never have been a slave back then they would’ve just had to kill me” we are living it today… all of us. There’s only roughly 600 people who control 330 million people in the USA. And instead of us, banding together for a better union, we fight amongst each other, while the horrible crappy people on both sides of the aisle, laugh all the way to the bank. I could care less what happens to Jussie Smollett, however, we should have consistency. If it’s bad for him to do the racially charged crime, it should be bad for all… regardless of race, title, profession, and party.

Because he wasn’t an A-list actor and knew this was his best chance to become one. Had this happened for real or if he did the stunt properly in a believable place like Texas or Kentucky then he would be making 20 million a year instead of 2 million. Look at Kapernick. He was a backup QB and now he makes more money than any player in the league

you know why his family so strongly support him? because they know deep down they are slightly responsible for his actions. there is no way he didnt act like this as a child or teen, and they allowed it. never challenged it. maybe even nurtured it. and no way theyll accept blame.
