This is one of my favourite videos. Literally I was feeling something heart touching. 1. Money shows who you really are. 2. There are two lives. 3. Pennies are able to think you about money but pounds not. 4. Rent is less costly than purchase. 5. Your partner influence the decision about money. 6. Being rich is not being wealthy. 7. Money can buy happiness. 8. Money is not for rich it's about freedom. Wow such a awesome points I ever heard.

SUMMARY #1: Money can really buy happiness. Don’t run away from money. #2: Renting is more profitable than buying things. Do the math before buying. #3: We treat money carefully when we don’t know how it can be earned back. #4: The best use of money is to invest in yourself. Note: Don’t be penny wise and pound foolish. #5: Your life partner will greatly influence your money decisions. #6: No one wants to get rich slowly. #7: The job of money is to make you free. #8: Being rich is different from being wealthy. #9: Money shows your true nature (and doesn’t change you). #10: Most of us don’t know how much money we need in life.

The way you put your points across is beautiful. I know most of these things , but i was just careless. Noted down few points. My learnings : 1) Concentrate on Budgeting 2)Being Rich = short term feeling. Goal = staying wealthy = permanently rich. 3)No matter how much money you're making , it's important to have that target number, else you might be back to square 1. Great video, cheers 😄💯

I feel that in the buy vs rent example, it is being assumed that nothing can ever be resold :) forget that scenario where house will have captial gains + scope of income generation via rental income etc. so it depends heavily on case to case basis. I know you pointed his out at the outro of that section but the opener did make a bold statement. Otherwise great video as always Edit- another thing that we are assuming here is one would be just "perfect" with other forms of investments when it comes to the down payment example. Example: We are planning an office space worth 70L for which the rent is 70k and emi would be 90k if I go with rent how can it be assumed that every investment we make via the down payment is going to be perfect. While the 70L investment (down payment + financing) is sure to give great returns as 1) this space was 35L like 4yrs back, 2) property is a good investment in 90% of cases in India whereas for other forma it greatly varies.

Loved your insights Ankur. Enjoyed your expressions as well specially Microsoft and Salary. There is so much of talks and advertisements on investing that people are also confused what to do and what no to. Most are running for short term gains. It's mainly because of FOMO. People should be patiently investing. Late investing hoga toh bhi chalega. Better late than never. We should definitely learn to invest certain portion of our money as per our affordability. Thank you.

I see many advice/suggestions regarding renting a house rather than buying one. Mathematically it makes sense. But in India, you get most houses for a rent period of just 11 months and you have to move out every 11 months. Could you make a video on that or provide some information
@sunilpurohit3941 Жыл бұрын
Not necessaryly I'm leaving on rent from last 3 years in the same flat... and if we have to change the house after 11 - 22 months then also we have the advantage of cleaning it and changing some interior & households.
@athena7071 Жыл бұрын
You don't have to leave the house after every 11 months. I have lived on rent since 2013 and know quite some people who have lived on rent for more than 20 years. By now they have a great relationship with the landlords too. In today's market, especially post-Covid, there are so many owners looking for long-term tenants.

Wealthy means not how much wealth you have....it is a parameter which shows you for how many days you can live without doing any work For ex- a middle class man can live for 10 days without doing any work and a rich man can live for only 5 days without doing any work because of his great expenses....so in this case the middle class guy is more wealthy.

I already thought over the 10th point a year ago when I watched a video " named levels of wealth "by magnates media and I truly agree with that,so I too have my own target of money I need, to never think of chasing for it ever again.and possibly achieve it as EARLY as possible coz most of the people achieve this when they have no energy and excitement to spend the money.
