I always replace the copper washer on the oil fill plug.

Now some mobile one doesn't say sae. Does that matter?

I have never noticed that before. I would still trust Mobil 1. They have a good reputation when it comes to motor oils.

At 5.5 quarts that you put in where does the dip read? Over high? Or at high? I put shy of 5 quarts and my read a lil les than high maybe 3/4 from Low to high measurement.

5.5 quarts should put it right where it needs to be on the dipstick. Somewhere between the low and high mark. There could be a couple reasons as to why yours is showing like that. Make sure you are draining the vehicle on a flat surface. If it's on a slight incline the oil may be getting stuck inside the oil pan unable to drain. Same goes with checking your oil. Flat surface. If the vehicle is leaning towards the dipstick side it could show higher than it really is. If you didn't change you oil filter that could also be your reason. Last but not least, after you add the oil, run the vehicle for a minute or so, then check. Sometimes it needs to circulate around to show an accurate reading on the dipstick. Thanks for watching.

I got high mileage oil. My truck is 50k would that be a problem?

At 50K miles I wouldn't worry about getting high mileage oil yet. If you already have it then you can still use it. It won't hurt anything. Thanks for watching.
