I don't think there's a perfect age to get married but really young is not ideal for many reasons. Having said that we got married at 18 in less than ideal circumstances and many predicted it wouldn't last! 52 years and 3 children later we're still here! As we wrote in the sand 54 years ago, Forever together!

I don’t think there’s any “right” age. Funny enough, my daughter, her friend, and I were just having this conversation last night. My daughter turned 23 on Thursday. On her birthday Vlog, (which was just the two of us having a fun shopping day), someone commented how she should be married with kids right now. She’s happily enjoying her time right now and working on her dreams and goals. We’re pretty sure God has already shown her her future husband, but she’s not yet ready…and that’s ok. Everyone has their own time. 🙏🏼💖

My daughter just got married on Saturday. They are both 21 years old but have know each other since meeting at Awana camp their freshman year. One thing that blows my mind is how big families grow when marriages occur. When my late brother married my sister-in-law I realized that I not only got a sister but another sister, another brother, another mom, and a couple of cousins. Then my sister-in-law remarried a great guy and I ended up with another brother, another brother, and two more parents. I grew up being told that everyone who comes into family becomes part of the family. Now I have difficulty figuring out how many people are in my extended family -- and it is a great thing to have!!😄

They are adorable! They remind me a lot of me and my husband. We went to daycare together, reunited in high school, and got married after college. He was 18 and I was 22 when we got married. We started dating 24 years ago tomorrow actually and we've been married for over 21 years now. I think it's more about finding the right person to marry than it is about age. We both came from divorced families and we didn't want that for us so when times were hard, we worked through it all.
