Did you have put a jack under the motor for support I say other people doing that, is it necessary

No you don't you just take out the 2 bolt on the engine mount by the alternator

How can I get the two bolts to align back in?

They should go back in. Mine was apart for a few hours. And it went back together with no problem.

Is it necessary to remove that main drive pulley to replace the belt? Or can you just de-tension the alternator to get the belt off? Also, how do you keep the pulley from turning when you snug up the bolts? Thanks!
