Changing an injector in an Impala SS LS4

Hello did you have to take out any fuel lines or just take a fuel relay and let car died with low fuel pressure then start, just want 2 know before i do mines

You gotta buy it already installed in the car. They only made em from 2006 -2009. It will cost to much to add this Engine into a None v8 impala. Its possible, but you'll spend more adding it then just buying one ready!

Sorry for the slow reply. That injector was the problem. It ran great after the change.

@@cammims7645 It had a misfire. The OBDII said Misfire on cylinder 2 and number 2 injector bad, so I changed just the #2 injector. It's been over a year and a half and it's still running great.

Mine is causing my engine to make a noise and lose power. Says cylinder 4 misfire. Do I need to replace all injectors or just one

I only replaced the one injector. The car ran great for over a year until I sold it, still running great.

Did you change the wires at any time? A spark plug wire that is not connected right will cause the same problems.. either it will shutter on idle or it will lose power and limp home... Had both happen to me ...
