I apologize for such a tardy reply. I got so crazy busy at work, and haven't got back to the channel in forever. I just had double hernia surgery, so now I have a little bit of a break.

Don't make the fiberglass fit the base of the engine mount perfectly. If you do so you will lise footing if you ever need to adjust the engine sideways, which you will eventually someday, if you are going to bother to align the engine to the shaft that is, which you must do after installation of new engine mounts

Thank you for your comment. If you watch the new video you can see that the fiberglass shims are about 3/16 of an inch bigger all the way around the base of the mount. I have plenty of room to move the mount without cantilevering over the edge. I can also move the shims because they are held in place with only clamping pressure from the mounting bolts.
