I've worked on vehicles since the late 1980's and I didn't know the sleeves come out of the bearing until I was looking on rockauto for a t/o bearing for my wagoneer.

Most people have that moment when they run into the "I did not know it could do that" but lots of the same people would not admit that they did not know, but you did, And in my book that makes you a more trustworthy mechanic.

Luk- Comes complete with the bearing already installed on a sleeve But you notice the price is not any higher than a Sachs😢😢😢.. You complete the job and a clutch fork is shaking because the pressure plate fingers are uneven that's gonna mess up your slaves cylinder and you're gonna have to bleed it every 3-4 days

In the past when a Television went out the technician would find the bad part and replace it even on circuit boards ( soldering them on ) but now they just change the whole circuit board out. And that is the way it is in a lot of fields these days "Just change the whole thing and of course charge the costumer" that leaves them more time to clean their tools. But who knows they may have their own reasons

Maybe they come from a Alternate universe. No it is an old school trick and something 'class room schools' might not teach.

This advice should not be followed, the teeth of the vise can damage the face of the bearing, you do not want that

Nothing wrong with the advice in the video. Yes if you find that you have to use a lot of extra force then that is where common sense should be used.

You can always stick a piece of wood if you’re worrying about damaging bearing
@fromcarstocomputers7261 Жыл бұрын
@@jesusgranados1311 Yes a small block of wood works great.
