Great video, by the looks of it your better at tractors than plants by the background haha
@BIGALTX2 жыл бұрын
I didn't know there were any plants IN the video :) If there was.. It was in December when all the plants die off for the winter

All you need to do to is repeatedly operate every hydraulic function through several full cycles, then check the hydraulic oil level.
@BIGALTX3 жыл бұрын
👍 When there is a full fluid and filter(s) change it takes a little longer to get the fluid to all the working parts.. but not too bad.

@@BIGALTX Made changing loader hoses on my 1966 John Deere 2510 really straightforward. You were correct about not having to bleed!
@BIGALTX Жыл бұрын
@@cbax864 Glad I could help I've changed them on 2 different tractors (one a mid 60's model Case) and never had to bleed...

If someday you have a extra person around see if the hose that started to leak tightens up when you turn the steering wheel hard right or left on trucks there are valves that you can adjust if not just don't turn the wheel all the way to the max that should confuse you enough or it could just be that that is the hose that is working the hardest

Hmmmm.... Interesting. I'll give that some thought... thanks!

3:41 the leaking end of the hose seems to have a bubble on the end which makes me think it was a bad crimp.
@BIGALTX3 жыл бұрын
Probably so. I've had other bad crimps in the past too.
@ryanjoseph6261 Жыл бұрын
That is what we call a “bubble crimp” It is a one piece ferrule and fitting usually used for higher pressure ratings Ones without the “bubble” have an individual ferrule and fitting which you will see the crimp is the entire length of the ferrule

Ok but how do you fix, or replace the hard pipe section? One of mine caught a limb that pushed it far enough to bend it and slice it. It was spraying all over the front of the tractor.
@BIGALTX2 жыл бұрын
I've never had to replace one, but you'll have to remove the bent piece. Then take is somewhere that has the capability to fabricate it (tractor dealer, etc) and let them have it so they can make an EXACT piece. That way it fits perfectly.

could have been the kid didnt get the hose all the way in the coupling before he crimped it ? WHERES THAT SILVER PLAY BUTTON ??
@BIGALTX3 жыл бұрын
Apparently you have to just about BEG for it. Just found out yesterday the procedure for "asking for it". It'll take several weeks I think. I'll show it when I get it :)

TP2, you need a new seat for the tractor. that would make a good vid. as well.

Yes, but... man... those seats are expensive. Might just get a cover instead :)

@eagsdaman1772 Жыл бұрын
Why does no one show the process of changing the hose? I wanna make sure I know the full process and explaining it doesn’t really cut it. We all know you gotta change a broken hose with a new one that’s common sense and doesn’t take a whole video to understand
@BIGALTX Жыл бұрын
It’s just a matter of unscrewing the old one and screwing on the new one. Tighten it down… Done. You don’t have to bleed the hydraulic fluid or anything like that. It’s just simple remove and replace. Hope that helps
