Just to give you feel for the kindness of these people, I will tell a little story that happened after Derek left. I spent the rest of the day with LJ's family and at one point I asked LJ about her vision, because to study you have to see well. She said it was not that good, so I said let's take the family to the mall and get LJ an eye exam and new glasses. Her immediate response was to "Please Sir" get glasses for her Grandmother "Lola" instead because she can not read her bible any more. LJ is genuinely selfless. Everyone who needed glasses got glasses. I am "Ride or Die" for selfless people.

KZbin have open up the world for the less fortunate. I would be glad if Seychellois kids could see your videos. Here every kids are covered with education up to University if you meet the grade, but they are not serious enough. I myself I have two degrees, one Advance Diploma and one Diploma all paid by the government. I stidies university in Ireland paid by the state in Hotel Management. My first degree was in Business Studies. Here houses like these will be demolished as no house can be built without proper planning approval. Health care also are covered here, plis Social Security and pensions by the State. Seychelles is the riches country in Africa by GDP, the country with the best passport in Africa, secound in Index Development in Africa. Our economy depends on tourism, Fiahing and offahore businesses. It saddens me to see people living in such conditions. I know that Philippines have a huge population, but this country is rich with lots of resources. I hope that you continue what you doing for the good of all these students.

What is not mentioned is almost all of these people are related. It is a community of extended family members spanning generations. Its not impossible to hide a theft but after meeting these people I think it is very unlikely they would take from each other. I think they would be more likely to give to others rather than keep for themselves, which is why I'm sure Gericho was given and "installment" to get his drivers permit. I wonder if the kid has a bank account to put the money in, or is he keeping it in his house? i grew up in malaysia for a bit, we have no toilets and no bathroom for many years. the only source of water for bathing is also where we pee. we poop by digging up the soil at the back of the house :) ah such fun times. but pee is the least of our worries. we saw snakes and centipedes in the body of water.
