it was the same with me, its just we have lost soo much of our life, it has come to the point that even if we are hunks or stud muffins, it doesnt really impact our social setting or our psychological setting that much. i have real screwed up genes, so i am short and fat and destined to be that way despite being in caloric deficit. its just hard. sadly the situation is not conducive for maintaining my body where i come from, lol. it sucks.

Usually with women depending on their starting point (of course) they lose 20lbs in 90 days with me but that’s with consistency of everything from steps to nutrition, water, sleep & exercise. To go for 6 months consistently & drop 50lbs is SOLID!! Life changing 😭 BUT just a reminder to anyone that is watching this - focus on building healthy habits & educating yourself around nutrition so that you can eat foods you love, workout how you enjoy & lose fat. The idea of “cheat meals” & “cheat days” is so outdated. All about building sustainable longterm habits 💕

Around 2019, I was at around 220lbs, standing 5'8, I was obviously obese - I was depressed. I hated myself, how I looked, everything. So I decided to change. Fast forward to 2021, I weighed as low as 155, however, I didn't feel healthy. The measures I took were far from ideal - was constantly starving myself, worked out here and there, but nothing serious. I lost weight so unhealthily that after eating a single meal, I'd gain a few pounds - scared the shit out of me. So I continued starving myself. Inevitably, I got burnt out. Started eating really unhealthily and by the first week of April 2022, I'm back to 200. Needless to say, I was feeling very disappointed and unhappy - I was back in the dark mental state I was previously in. So a couple of days ago I said fuck it and started working out again, but this time, I told myself I was gonna do this the right way. Resting today after a couple days of getting back, my body is in pain, even walking hurts. But I've honestly never felt so motivated after watching this video. Thank you. This was the first video I've ever seen from you guys and this is gonna change me. I may not have the support system John had, but I know I got this. I actually teared up towards the end of the video - because I realized that I can do it. And I will. If I ever feel down and feel like I couldn't push through, I'll be re-watching this. I rarely ever comment on videos, but I just felt like I had to on this one. Thank you John, Thank you Ilya. More power to you guys.

Yeah, wtf is up with cheat meals, etc. Literally did the weight loss in the worst way possible. Simple recipe for weight loss: Count calories in, reduce some carbs, replace with protein, walk everyday (track calories out from apple watch or fitbit). If you're in a calorie deficit, you will lose weight 100% and you don't have to feel like absolute shit. Even better if you can work out and gain muscle at the same time. his calves hurt because his "trainer" has no creativity beyond running to work out. Swim? elliptical? there are lower impact exercises.

11:11 This was literally my thought process when I started to lose weight back in late January. Wasn't till like late March I really started seeing the results of my efforts and realised what I'm doing actually is making a humongous difference. Very good video btw, can't wait to see more!

This transformation could have been handled better, nutrition and training wise. Honestly John didnt have to suffer through all those unnecessary intense training. But anyways, a transformation is a transformation, all the best for him.

yeah and once he plateaued like he's going so hard that's his body telling him it wants to stay at that weight. Unless he's gonna get into like distance running 15% body fat is fine man had MADE it
