"She got handed the opportunity" people are not considering the amount of work she has had to put in. If she fumbled the whole thing, she won't still be there and David wouldn't have promoted her. He basically now trusts her to run the WHOLE company and his different portfolios. She earned it.

Something to note is the opportunities that were presented to her, while more grandeur than some of the ones people may get on average - she leveraged them to the max. I'm curious on what CEO/brands thought when it came to her credibility, especially in the early days - you could argue it was more about "how can we get this sponsor who has a huge following" than assessing her level of business ethics to ensure it's a great business decision. Either way, great interview and def. worth watching🤘🏾

Thx so much! It’s funny she said they were receptive when they found out she was a creator too. But I’ll bet they didn’t like it at first.
