Hi Ray, Here's something I didn't realize until it was pointed out. The word "government " is made up from two words, "govern" and "ment." Govern means "Control" and Ment is short for "Mental" or "Mind." Put the two together and you've got something very revealing, Control of the Mind or simply "Mind Control." Hiding in plain sight...

He really liked the truck but didn’t know much about the motor. I work mostly on farm equipment so I referred him to your videos. He called me later that day and said he owed me 100 bucks for saving him the headache of buying that truck. If he ever pays me( I don’t expect him to as he’s a pretty good friend) I’ll send you half. You definitely work in paradise during the right time of year. I'm sure it turns into hell in the winter, but certain times of the year it's beautiful! Saw one of the comments talking about "government" and I thought I'd drop this tidbit that most of us missed. The word "government" is made up from two words, govern and ment. Govern means "Control" like an engine governor or state governor. Ment is short for "Mental" or "Mind." So, government means CONTROL of the MIND or simply "MIND CONTROL." Amazing all the words that are hiding in PLAIN SIGHT. Take care brother, God bless!!!

Problem is, good luck getting rid of the truck with the Paccar engine. I worked on motor coaches for years, Van Hool and MCI offered buses with a Cat C-12. They were bad, lots of issues. Everyone was trying to get rid of them, the dealers couldn’t sell them. It was so bad that the Van Hool distributor for North America rented an old camper factory in Napanee Indiana and were repowering the cat engined buses with Detroit series 60 engines so they could sell them. We repowered several ford F-550 trucks that had either the 6.0 or 6.4 international engines with 12 or 24 valve Cummins.

That info from the man who owns a fleet of 300 trucks is really sad. Companies that we used to look at with respect and trust in their products have fallen a long way. You would think the red flag would go up when they hear stuff like this, customers saying "no more". At some point when ya burn all the bridges and destroy the trust the phone stops ringing. Sad state of affairs indeed.

The epa13 series was largely known to be better than the epa 10, but unfortunately when the epa17 newer ones came out, they started having more QC problems with dumb things and it seems like it's still happening. Not that Cummins is flawless, but at least they aren't so proprietary about their software and parts etc like Paccar is.

Hi Warren, great video. A small question, today in the US what is the best engine for trucks, in your opinion? Because today here in Brazil we have the PACCAR MX-13 as you have there, it proved to be an excellent engine. And we have Scania, Volvo and Mercedes-Benz but it varies from customers I think Volvo and Paccar today have the best engines, but maintenance is still very expensive. See you later and success.

I had an 81 F150 that for the most part I loved. I'd still have it if CT DOT vehicle corrosion program didn't rot it out, even with regular treatments of used motor oil underneath. The I-6 was indestructible, easy to work on, etc... But digress. The SROD 4 speed transmission in my opinion was junk. The rear end ratio was 2.73 : 1. Both easily remedied at the time, but the rust made that impossible. One time I was bringing home firewood, and couldn't make it go up a hill, had to unload half of it to get out. I can't imagine a big truck with 3.21 axle ratio. Unless you're always going downhill with a strong tailwind. Maybe if it had an underdrive or a 2nd transmission, I don't know. And yes, I understand all about torque and horsepower from a Diesel, but still, 3.21:1?

Warren, either I didn't listen well to you or it just wasn't clear why the old Cab-overs were twin screw machines while the newer conventional road tractors tend to have only one drive axle. Is it a question of length or cost or what? I understand that farmer owned trucks are often less regulated than commercial ones.
