@@planetduct6663 it actually depends in what type of filters you are using because every filter has a different pressure drop and therefor the more restrictive the filter the larger the filter area will need to be to pass enough air for the ac unit to work efficiently. you probably need to use a manometer to see if its causing a restriction on a system. you usually only get around .1 - .23" static pressure allowance for filter anything more you are slowing down the aireflow.
