Thank you! Im at 60,000 miles and dealership just quoted me $600 to do this stating intake manifold has to come off. Think as you said its for the 6. I'll do it myself now!

Thanks! Yea it’s really a quick and easy task with these motors since they pretty much make everything easy to access

Outstanding video! I'm not the final word on anything but I usually put a touch of oil on the threads of the spark plug so that it will go on smoothly and be easier to remove next time, just saying. Regards, Denis Berte' USMC

This has to be one of easiest spark plug changes I've seen compared to the old 3.8 v6 JKs.

I found some NGK Iridium Laser plugs for my 2018 jl sahara 2.0 turbo and they say OE recommended and pre-set gap is .026". Is this correct?

Awesome Video. @9:34 I just wanted to point out that "Dried Pink Fluid" that seems to be leaking on the bottom of the turbo. Not sure if that's a cause for concern. Just a heads up

A coolant leak, possibly from a hairline crack in the adjacent, pressurized overflow tank. A known issue on the JL Wrangler forums. Something to monitor and repair as necessary.

Just looking out brother but that torque setting was 23ft lbs instead of 13.
@dr.lefort15966 ай бұрын
Is it? Should be 168 in lb or 14 ft lb

So... had to get a 5/8th with attached extension from Oreille's, then had to grind down a sleave that was on it so it would fit in the tube. A 5/8ths sparkplug socket wouldn't work by itself, kept pulling off the extension. The last two clips I just left attached and pulled the whole thing out, coil pack and all.... 2 and 1/2 hours start to finish. Will be less next time.... Funny note, NGK states the life of the plug is 30k miles but Jeep says to service them at 60k... wonder why?

I'm a cynic, but recommending changing them at 30K instead of 60K could potentially sell twice as many spark plugs. My guess is THAT accounts for the discrepancy between what NGK says and what Jeep recommends.

I actually was only able to get 1 from quadratec even though I ordered 4. Eventually I contacted them for a refund which I never got but subsequently was able to get some from a local autozone but had to wait for them to ship from a warehouse.

@@BlackFlagAdventure yea they're hard to come by for some reason no local stores have them

@@bval0014 well if you find some I would only recommend ordering extra so you have spares on hand. That’s what I did
