Very good indeed. I grew up watching the Guards Regiments do it but it is good to see plenty of female officers at the Changing of The Guard as well.

The march is Colchester castle I’ve not heard it in ages

@@militaryevents107 I had never heared that one before untill I just looked it up! I like it! Other personal favourites are Trombone King, Farewell of Slavinkia and The Liberators however there are so many great marches!!

I love this band. They look so good , dressing, deportment, and music. Smart uniforms too. Question. Why do a couple of bandsmen have thick helmet plumes compared to the rest of the band? A cornet player, and bass drum. Is it rank?

Yes. If you look at the lower right sleeve you will see they are wearing a crown rank badge, meaning they hold the rank of WO2 (Warrant Officer, class 2), and as such they also wear swords.
