"Moving from Army of Fundraisers to Army of Activists in Our War on Cancer"
The former Houston marketing and PR executive didn't even know what a PSA was until such an inadvertent test of his blood led to a biopsy, revealing a low-grade prostate cancer.
After meeting top physicians across the country, Canales became educated about the anticancer lifestyle and learned that his own cancer, currently under active surveillance, could have been prevented.
That galvanized Canales into awareness -- and action. He quickly launched the non-profit Blue Cure Foundation, which educates and empowers all men "but especially a younger generation." Canales wrote in the Huffington Post Prostate Cancer Prevention Begins When Men Are Boys and has led a clarion call that the conversation must change with a greater focus on prevention.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

thank you for sharing. it is sad this video doesn’t have more views. and as someone who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer as a first time cancer, at age 46, i know this all to be true. i’m tumor free 6 years later. i changed everything in my life. left my 25 year marriage, healed my anger issues, stopped sugar, alcohol, all mainstream products. i took high dose cannabis to shrink tumors. now i’m on maintenance dose. . i am happier and healthier than ever. and you know what? no one from the hospital is even curious as to how i’m doing so good. they don’t care.

Well done to you, congrats on healing yourself, and on turning your life around, I am recently diagnosed myself, met my consultant last week, who became so agressive when I said I had binned the sugar and choc (my only vices). In fact she actively advised me to eat the stuff! A very sincere well done, to you, in all aspects of turning your life around. I am working on doing the same. Good health & happiness to you x

U are right, it's the products that we consume now are toxic so it should be regulated more. If we'll check all labels of food & non food in the grocery, u will be amazed. I say, reestablish, reprogram & reprimand the DFA so the businesses will create more healthy products & not toxic ones 🙏🏽💜

I do wish people would stop using the word "fighting" in regard to cancer. Nobody "fights" cancer, they endure it, and in the later stages, suffer it. Only people who don't have cancer, oh, and charities, use "fighting", believe me, it's a nonsense.

What a great video. Food has so much to do with what goes wrong with our bodies. When you read the ingredients on the package the less in the better and when you can not pronounce or do not know what that 50 dollar word us put it back on the shelf. Like he said there are to many chemicals that are in the food. It sneaks up on you. 💥

Great video, simply delivered and highly informative. Medical and health departments, many influential senior doctors and politicians are CAPTURED by Big Pharma. Many Drs with alternative views are ostracized. Thanks for this video

There is no 'one cure fits all'. How you cure cancer depends on what caused it. Unresolved physical, mental or environmental stress seem to be the main causes. If you remove the root cause you cure the cancer.

Crazy idea..maybe stop fighting cancer and try to help what it's trying to do so the body doesn't need it anymore. Like when did we ever fight fibration? The fight against scars? The only difference is cancer is living tissue that's also perfused, so that actually helps surrounding tissue. Also you don't die of prostate cancer, you die of organ failure if it spreads to other organs. And that spread could just be due to the toxic environment in your body having spread so cancer cells have to come in to help stabilize the surrounding tissue. It's certainly a different perspective
