This is how to make a line through. Every plastic you use may require slight differences in how you make it. I can tell you it won’t have nearly the same thump to it though.

Great video guys! Do y'all think that the whale would also work with this technique but slightly changing it to a top hook? The lakes i fish have tons of trees and dead limbs on the bottom, and my wallet prefers top hooks! 😅

John has said that rigging with a top hook is much more complicated because of the pronounced head wobble the bait has. You will need more bottom weight but does work well!
