I'm not a fan of Shimano lures (or big lures), bc the plastics are cheap, but the ArmaJoint seems like it's a winner. They get chasers, and might not crack due to larger construction design. To be honest, this lure may run deeper than the Sneaky Peter from what I've experienced. Yes, it swims well being 3 pieces. 2-pc gliders tend to have a mechanical swim. The key is the roll as found in the Peter, but without it, you'd need that boost flash. On the pause you need tha extra flicker or shimmy. Now go and be an elite. To me, big lures require braid to leader no matter what. To be specific, no on the flouro. You need mono leader to create flex. I don't know what dampens the blow means, but you need that flex for shock absortion. You also need to have that delay reaction into setting the hook properly. It's like catching bluegills with a stiff rod or a bass rod.

I've never had an issue with my Shimano lures.

@@chrisgarcia5462 When you bang it on concrete Ducts, it's a goner. If you whip the grass on the surface, the lip breaks. If you jerk it on MH or H, the lure takes in water. Need I say more?

@@chrisgarcia5462 Exactly, but they don't carry the name or legacy of Shitmano.

I'm 78 years old and have been bass fishing longer than these two kids have been alive. When i hear anglers talking about their pin point 70-90 yard casts and setting the hook on a lure that far away I know they are full of shit. I would like to see anyone tie on a swimbait this big, walk onto a football field, put the lure on the ground in the end zone, walk out to the 45 yard line on the far side of mid field (55 yds) and be able to a sweep set with a 7'6" rod and actually move the lure with enough force to bury the hooks. Ever seen a pro set the hook on a Carolina rig? They are trying to set the hook from maybe 30-40 yds. This video is pure nonsense,

John does use braided line for most of his techniques. With 0 stretch it is no issue to set the hook from that distance. Also the weight of the bait assists in setting the hook on swimbaits

Lol no I am not blind. However, I suffered a concussion a few days prior to the filming of this video and the bright lights gave me a migraine. I apologize that me wearing sunglasses inside made you feel some type of way

Oh I lost 3 of them snap fly off the Antares DC I can't explain it , breaks on halfway 4 ? I adjusted spool tension knob, difficult to move though . What breaks you have it on , if Antares Dac 21 ? Other than that caught quite a few bass , pike on it. Especially blue and purple color .

If you can't cast a reel that does the casting for you the you are the problem.
