What is the consistance for what uncall a cleaner cover? Is it the texture of surface? Your demos on layouts really helps me understand importance of how to get a ball drilled. Enjoy the education !

I recently made the decision to throw all Motiv bowling balls. My favorite first numbers are 60 and 45. I have one ball, Fatal Venom that I am struggling with because of all of the over/under. It's drilled at 60. Maybe had I drilled it at a smaller first number it would fit my game better. I am very interested to see the differences in the Pride Empire that JR is showing because to me that ball looks like it could be a handful and quite possibly very over/under.

The Fatal Venom has a super clean cover. I decided to get this ball for my house shot as it is super light oil. First week, it was a little over/under... I hit it with a used 3k pad on a spinner and it still clears the fronts, but has a much more consistent reaction. If you haven’t changed the surface on it, give it a try. I love the ball as most of my Storm stuff is just too much there... hy road, iq tour, phase 2... all way too much ball.

For the California bowling balls that are symmetrical I would say in a dual angle layout it plays a bigger difference just because of the covers. 🤷🏾🤷🏾🤷🏾
