Channel 4 Ident 1982: Different Variations

The original 1982 ident music for Channel 4 was written by David Dundas. Numerous variations of the same idea were used. Here are a few examples of the different versions heard on the channel.

If you listen to it, that last ident still sounds a bit like it has the four score tune.

The last was not a variation of Fourscore. That was a different one made in 1992 although it still has 4 notes to avoid paying David Dundas (the man who made the tune) a royalty of 3.50 pounds (approximately 1,000 pounds each week) everytime they would air the ident.
