Louise is one lucky pup in that she can swim and walk, etc. I don't think her example helps others. If exercising has helped her then why didn't she have the common sense to do that already? People in pain aren't usually that stupid. I have fibro but with other diseases that mean movements cause paralyses. I have tried graduated exercise programmes under specialists since 1991 and each time I was made worse...contemporary science has proven that is to be expected. Years back the pain clinic put me on morphine patches to try and help. I reacted badly to the morphine but for the first time in my life a part of my body was without pain (it was the soles of my feet). I could only tolerate it for a few days. Pain is weird and different for all. For some of us it is in every single cell 24/7 and nothing relieves it. Louise and her situation is a red herring - though perhaps she qualifies for a Darwin Award.
