Take your time. New Tool music will not be out for at least another 6 years. Seriously though, it would be cool to start revisiting Tool songs and breaking down some of the harder parts along with speaking about how it generalizes into other music. As a member who regularly watches the Tool videos, this would be very interesting to me. Like Jambi and then a new Jambi deep dive.

I think I totally second that. Deep dives would be pretty cool!

Hi Greg - thanks for the update. Whatever your journey, that’s fine by me. I’m old (64) but love what you do. Basically it’s more about you than the music. How you present, the way you talk and your instruction just flows really well. I’m sure if you were you tubing as the number one thing, then you’d be way up there. But I get it. You have to live life to. There’s no pressure to provide connection and just know you have support of your loyal supporters. I’ve learnt more off you then anybody else. Rock on 2024.

I will never forget when google had your picture as Adam Jones for a short while. And Tool is allegedly working on new material from what I hear :)

Hey Greg, long time subscriber here. Back when you moved I was sorry to hear it, because I used to attend your local shows. Yes, we all love your Tool breakdowns, but you're an interesting, intelligent person and a natural teacher, so I'm sure I speak for many when I say we'd love to hear about everything you're working on in music. Cheers. ☀️

Really great to hear your update and happy to hear that you're alive and well!!..lol. As a fairly novice guitarist, you have been my inspiration to learn some Tool songs.....it's what drew me to your channel. I have a few songs down and continue to learn more....you are Number 1 for teaching Tool. Btw, Justin Chancellor recently announced that they may be coming out with new material sooner than later. In addition, you encouraged me to seek out Kiesel guitars and I have my first one in the works; of course it's a Silverburst single cut. I dealt with Flock at Kiesel and we spoke about you.....he had nothing but good things to say about you. Keep up the good work and wish you the best in all of your endeavors!!!

If I've learned anything about Tool (besides how to play their songs courtesy of this channel), it's that anything a band member says about "new material" should be taken with a huge grain of salt, haha. I'll believe it when I'm actually hearing it.

Yes, please show a deep dive into everything you use in the studio. That would be awesome. 👍 And if you would reconsider doing full song lessons for Lamb of God, just like you did Tool, that would be much appreciated. Maybe do it for patreon only members? 🤔

I love the the channel and have been here from the beginning pretty much but if I have one piece of advice to bring to the channel, is cover more extended range 8 string stuff and modern metal?djenty style bands, we love the Tools Etc etc but I feel prog has been growing, modern metal/prog/metal bands like Animals As Leaders, Deftones, Vildhjarta, Spiritbox, New Tesseract, Jinjer, Humanitys Last Breath, Meshuggah etc etc have been just killing it in the past few years and I think this the future of guitar playing, look at what Tosin is doing with his guitars Abasi Concepts, it just feels fresh and modern and making real innovative ideas for guitars but I digress 🤘
