They broke up. Dave has achieved a lot in his life and I respect him for that, but he didn't come across that well on the show, whereas Rachel was the most awesome person that whole season and probably top ten overall in any season. I think she knew she could find someone who appreciated how awesome she was more than Dave did. She's remarried now.

I don't remember much of Dave other than him being very efficient at the challenges, similar to Cody. That's why I didn't even care for Dave or Cody & Jessica (Jessica was meh too)

Just watched this season. Rachel was the MVP of their relationship, yet Dave acted like she was the problem. He's in denial here about the extent of his assholery. He constantly blamed his wife and then blamed the editing for showing the truth about how they treated each other. Not surprised to learn that they're divorced and she's remarried now. On the show, he claimed that his relationship with Rachel means more to him than the $1M or winning, which was obviously a lie because he was yelling at her again the next time he thought that they weren't gonna be in 1st place. Army Dave won the battle but lost the war.
