Joey has come across really well, he was let down badly by Lauren during the team challenge. He was literally carrying the entire weight at one stage, then she had the audacity to blame their shortcomings on him when his body gave out in the later stages. Yet, he didn't lose his temper. Let's not confuse the two, we should not speak poorly of her because she was born without an arm - that wasn't the problem here. From the start she had an issue with Joey, and refused to work with him. He tried his best but she sabotaged his efforts. All I can say is Joey came across as a gentleman, and his reserved demeanour is admirable, I truly hope he goes on to win.

I’m 49, and like most in the early days just thought he was a bit thick and rather dopey. I was wrong. I really felt for him here. 13yrs since my mother passed away and I’m still expecting her to walk through my front door and meet my beautiful wife for the first time.
