Sorry but that isn't what the report says, It says there was no evidence it improved the quality of life of the patient when taking them, She also said there was no evidence of potential harms , So what your saying is not factually true because there is no studies that show puberty do cause harm, that what it says in the report, she dismissed 50 studies showing it did help with quality of life, But they are doing a study now , so some children who partake in that study and will get puberty blockers.

Only the most drastic of gender affirming care is permanent. This girl says that speaking to someone wouldve helped but what she means is someone who wouldve affirmed her. They have an expectation of what they want from medical professionals and if they dont get it from one they move on to look for one that will give them what they want. All this talk of losing the "expertise" of those with years working with trans children misses the fact that these distressed children need clinicians who will first see them as individual human beings, not trans avatars born in the wrong body. A bunch of idealogues working in medicine became SO CERTAIN of one insufficiently-tested protocol which centered around an insufficiently defined or evidenced concept, gender, and another suspect theory coming out of Psychology (which has a long history of pathologizing natural human variation), so that they were unable to recognize an entirely new cohort of mentally distressed children, which differ from the earlier group in very important and varied ways.

There's a great deal of expertise and evidence. Cass decided only very specific studies qualified. People might have been fleeing Tavistock because they had thousands of patients but only the capacity for a few dozen. It's amazing how Cass can say there's not enough evidence to support use of puberty blockers yet concludes it's harmful. And their reasons have _nothing_ to do with effectiveness or safety.

There is no paediatrician ,endocrinologist or surgeon to safeguard the children's physical health. In countries that do provide gender affirming care, there are multiple visits to multiple care providers (general practitioner, therapist, child psychologist and social worker before it's determined medical is prescribed. In my country it takes years to get top surgery and double digit appointments to get your first prescription. No below the belt surgeries are performed on children. NOWHERE are children being prescribed drugs and having their genatalia altered because they said one time - "I don't want to be a boy".

One thing the Cass Review has proven is that we should stop referring to these kids as 'trans', use 'gender questioning' maybe. A lot of these kids are genuinely suffering with really complex home situations and life circumstances that cause gender distress. Why be so nasty about that and make it seem like they are all just doing it to be special? Maybe the adults, yes, but the kids are victims here.

I think a lot of people are missing the point here, the NHS is failing to provide adequate support to help this young woman to go through puberty without the need for any harm to her body. But there is nothing there, it’s all ‘ideologically captured care’, more like a horror show

You're missing the point: *Children Are Suffering.* Forcing trans children to experience a natural puberty is no better than forcing cis children to take HRT. If you experienced 5 minutes of my pain as a teen, it would scar you for life. But maybe you'd be a little more open to helping children instead of dictating the limits of human experience. You're way ensures they need MORE surgery and have a much harder time operating in society.

Common sense at last. Puberty blockers should of never been prescribed to these children, they are too young to make an informed choice and many of them have been influenced by social media.
