in 2015 I was a volunteer on a small island in Greece called Chios , I was there to help the Syrian refugees who were coming by boat. During that time I heard from them the most horrific stories, they showed me videos I'll never forget and they had so much grace and dignity. As a volunteer I had access to food of course but whenever I brought them food they insisted on sharing with me and the other volunteers, even when they hadn't eaten in days, and even when they were only served one small meal a day. There were no toys anywhere, so the night before Christmas we found some and when we brought them the children would only take one toy each, many older kids declined completely until all the younger kids had a toy. I have so much appreciation and love for Syrian people and I'm so happy for them. I hope they can return and be reunited with families they thought they might never see again.

The Israeli people I have met told me how much of a police state Israel is. Some even told me that they crunch when Israel is referred as a democracy. When I watch Israeli analyst and academics interviewed on tv, you can tell how scared they are on their body language to criticize Israel when it is wrong. Many Arabs support Hamas, especially now that many world organizations have accused Israel of genocide. When does self-defence become revenge and genocide? Does a 40 - 1 advantage in deaths incurred qualify as a genocide? Deliberately starving civilians? Destroying hospitals? The old cliche holds true - “An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind”.

This last guy, the one that rabbited off and left his loyalists holding the bag, while he is partying in Moscow - he was very plausible in the beginning too- a respected eye surgeon in the UK, and the people thought he would be a great leader, and look what happened - he was just as bad, if not worse, than his father - there's an awful lot of factions and factors here, and the corruption and areas of crime, drug trade, etc - and the ones that have profited from the civil war - they're still out there, desperate to not be caught and punished by any kind of law -

The revelations surfacing in that prison cannot be denied. It's Abu Ghraib but ten times worse. But HOW would have the jihadis been any different to those who opposed them? Would love an answer.

this is why i hate watching western news. They use words like islamist and jihadis obsessed with labelling us terrorists. Usually when they want to get away with unaliving muslims they use the term terrorist. so theres no sympathy. and all you hear is allahu akbar.
