Saira has had an awful allergic reaction while at school, so her mum has taken her in to see the GP. It is soon apparent that paramedics need to be called in as well. We also look behind the closed doors to see Louise with a nasty nappy rash and Victor's sharp abdominal pain.

GP's really are a bit of a luck of the draw, aren't they? Have all kinds of autoimmune disease/cancer in the family and have had issues myself so know exactly how hit or miss they can be. Heck, my Mum even has the horror story of walking around with appendicitis for two months (misdiagnosed by GPs, of course) and nearly dying when it ruptured. Anyway, nice to see some who are hands on. Know there may be an element that it's for the cameras but still...

You do know that urine is sterile. If it is from a healthy person. Bacteria are only in there if there is some sort of infection. It is not pleasant to look at but not dangerous either. Although I would have washed my hands afterwards hahaha I mayored in Biology and Chemistry. And we did have to test urine samples and blood samples as well. To be honest, blood testing is a lot more dangerous and difficult then urine. Give me urine any given day. :) Besides that people can in certain situations drink their own urine after a cleaning process. Urine is made mostly of water and waste from your body. I am not sure about the entire process of that, only know that it can be done.

She went to the doctor for a diaper rash? Because of my job ive been chainghing diapers for like 11 years. Here is how you avoid diaper rash: NEVER and I mean never use those wet whipes. If its poo use paper with some oil and then whipe it off with a wet towel. Then dry it with something. The product thats left on the skin from those awful wet whipes are so bad even tho its made for babies. It should be illigal. Also NEVER clean or leave anything on then just changing diaper when its urine. Its made to not clean when its just urine. And of course dont put them on to thight.

This isnt typical GP experience. This is luxury treatment for the cameras. My boyfriend phoned 111 with severe abdominal pain over two days, throwing up whenever he even drank anything. Ambulance came, said he wasnt having a heart attack and then left. Fortunately he didnt take their word for it, kept pushing and eventually got taken to the hospital and diagnosed with appendicitis. They said if he had waited much longer it would have burst.
