i’m very similar to the last doctor with my patients. very often i will comfort them, give them a hug, or just sit close to them, when they are crying. i chose my profession exactly for this, to be close to those in need. and we as doctors are extremely privileged, because we are in such position; too sad when some doctors don’t use it

Dr. Khan is an incredible doctor with so much compassion and a great listener. He truly cares for his patients. I'm in awe of his bed side maners because most GP's don't comfort their patients. It made me cry when Dr.Kahn reached out to soothe a man who's going through a very scary health crisis. I hope and pray the gentlemen is doing well and Dr. Kahn's parents must be so proud of him.

WOW. Did i hear right. The doctor will fit the depressed patient in if they need to see the doctor and he hasn't an appointment. WOW. That's never happened at my GPs surgery even when ive had chronic depression and on the verge of suicide. I've always been told to wait until there's an appointment with the next available doctor. I'm waiting days even weeks.

I used to think of suicide all the time. My PC doctor gave me a new antidepressant to try. He thought it would help fibromyalgia, Two days later the suicide thoughts were gone. I couldn't even make myself think about it. The biggest benefit was I knew why I couldn’t talk myself out of it. It was not something I could control. I was lacking a brain chemical. It was like I was deficient. In Vitamin D and once I was taking Vitamin D I wasn’t.
