Appreciate you Doug. Been a fan for more than a decade. Its been a hard year. My own mom passed away this year. I remember the touching video you made for your mom on Xmas. Youre a good human! Btw about machine issues, im the opposite, i can figure out any machine/ electronics issues, but people are a mystery. It helps to have people who can do both to make a team successful. This year was rough. From my grandma passed away on New years to me and my mom got evicted from our apartment. But hopefully next year will change. And we'll be able to get a new place to live. God bless everyone.

Merry Christmas Doug. I remember when I first found Nostalgia Critic videos way back in 2013, your reviews were the first thing to make me laugh after my grandmother passed away. She was like a second mom to me and losing her was one of the hardest things I've ever gone through. Your videos helped me find laughter and joy again which was all she ever wanted for her family. Mr. Walker, sir. I’ve been a fan of your videos since I was just a teen in high school during my sophomore year. Like yourself, I didn’t have the best luck trying to make friends but my area of bad luck in that area came from growing up in the late 90’s through the early 2000’s when people thought Autism was contagious via casual contact. Your biting witticisms and snarky comments have never once failed in giving me something to smile about when the world seemed the most depressing and bleak. I’m now 30 years old and I need to be honest, I never imagined making it even close to this point on my own. You and your unique sense of critical hilarity helped me keep going; I was sad to see the original members of the Channel Awesome family drift away and crushed when it looked like the Critic would hang up his hat and tie and blazer combo forever. Yet, lo and behold? The prodigal performer returned with a new cast and crew, seizing the internet by our collective lapels and declaring as loud and proud as Beetlejuice did: “it’s showtime”. I don’t know if you’ll see this comment or not. It’s perfectly alright if you don’t. But Mr. Walker, from a loser who religiously watched your old uploads on repeat to help build and develop my own sense of comedic timing, from someone who wouldn’t be on this planet if it wasn’t for a Chicagoan with a brassy attitude and a love of bad movies? You totally rock and I hope this is a memorable Christmas for you.
