Unfortunately in our media and political leadership are some very pro-NATO (although Finland is not a NATO member) and pro-EU people who demonize Russia 24/7 and would cut the existing relationships rather than develop. Internal Chinese government documents obtained by The New York Times have revealed new details on the origins and execution of China’s mass detention of as many as one million Uighurs, Kazakhs and other predominantly Muslim minorities in the Xinjiang region. The 403 pages reveal how the demands of top officials, including President Xi Jinping, led to the creation of the indoctrination camps, which have long been shrouded in secrecy. There are many reasons why the relationship between Russia and China has grown closer, but one that often gets overlooked is pretty simple: there's really nothing that the two sides have to argue about anymore. In the past, issues constantly came up that caused them to stare each other down: Russia forced China to give up Outer Manchuria and acknowledge Mongolia's independence, China was dissatisfied over the Soviets post-Stalin straying too far from communist ideology and accused them of breaking too many promises, etc. But that's all in the past now. What remains as a source of tension between them? - The border? That was settled, and a formal equal treaty has been signed designating the official lines. - The ideology? The days of stubbornly sticking to one ideology and refusing to find practical solutions are long gone. - The economy? Both countries have made reforms and opened up to the global market while finding mutually beneficial cooperation with each other. We can go on, but we'd be hard-pressed to find anything that Russia and China still find worthy of arguing over.

OK, calm your hormones down and cut ties with the neo-Nazi police state in China and let the CNA shills corrupt some bad herb. You will get over the fact that the US brings peace and prosperity and China is a refuge for slave owners and misanthropes of the worst sort. That is why HK is the way it is..the people have some freedom to not cower before the stinking ChiCom farts that run the cesspool that is China. And the ChiCopms can't wait to kill everyone in HK. But alas, the media is watching. Read it and weep for those brave people in HK, taking on the scum of China.

@@tonychopkoski2789 "US brings peace and prosperity"? 🙄🙄🙄 😂😂😂 might have been the greatest joke i ever read. well okay, let's talk about vietnam killings and human rights abuses by US... or the about the 270 million bombs dropped by US in laos for 9 years, some thousands even have not yet detonated until today and poses risks to people there... i can go on for miles here buddy. 😅 US is not a saint, it certainly isnt bringing peace or prosperity. 🤣🤣🤣 The western fake news propaganda media certainly has done a number on you, i applaud. 👍
