I can't get enough of listening to this man, who I honestly believe is the one of the greatest leaders ever. I'm not even exagerating, when you look at the changes he brought to his nation. From a, sorry, but pretty backward port with interethnic conflict to one of the most advanced, peaceful and best standard of living nations in the world. The Meiji Emperor of Japan can boast with such profound advancement of his country in one generation. I would also add Charlemagne in Europe (starting the pacification and boosting education after the hundreds years of chaos that followed the fall of Rome). Thing is, there aren't that many leaders who have managed profound advancements of their nations in a generation.

As he was getting in his car to go back my father and i happened to be on the side of the car’s rear window. Afterwards he looked out and smiled. My father waved at him and he waved back. My father was so proud of this moment.
