Chant of the Georgian priest in Aramaic language of the 50th psalm has forced to cry the Pope Francis. The Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Mtskheta. Georgia. 02.10.2016

. The girl deserves equal credit in the caption for this video. Her steady fragility enhances the impact of the wall of sound from the priest. Her courage to perform well under the pressures of this setting and these people is evident. Watching them throughlout the performance, it is clear this is not a solo by Fr. Serafim, but a duet.

»Her steady fragility«. In her expression she is even stronger than »the wall of sound«, or better she with her fragility is strongest christian message supported by »the wall of sound«. For me this beautiful Aramaic psalm is more than a duet.

Confirmed from a Chaldean Catholic priest I'm acquainted with who knows Aramaic, they are chanting Psalm 51/50. It's Psalm 51 by the RSV and NAB numbering (and even the KJV numbering), but Psalm 50 according to the numbering that the Orthodox still use. It's the Psalm that begins with "Have mercy on me, O God, according to your merciful love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions."
